Any ideas? found this here but non of them are working for me or im just to inmature in Ubuntu 20.04 Perform GPU, CPU, and I/O stress testing on Linux LAMBDALABS.COM How to stress test a system for simultaneous GPU and CPU loads using two stress tools, stress and gpu_burn, and three monitoring tools, htop, iotop and nvidia-smi. Just got an email from Thermal Grizzly: Dear Thermal Grizzly Customer, Based on recent feedback from a small number of customers, we would like to bring the following to your attention: During the installation of the Intel Mycro-Direct-Die and the Intel High Performance Heatspreader V1, it may occur that the desired cooling performance is not achieved. Ensure that the optimal cooling is indeed reached. If you find that the performance does not meet your expectations, we kindly ask you to send an email to support@thermal-grizzly.com so we can find a satisfying solution. The email should include the following information: -Which cooler are you using? (if using the heatspreader) -Which motherboard are you using? -Which thermal paste or liquid metal are you using? Photos of the components as well as before/after screenshots of the temperatures under load would help us better to judge the current situation. Our engineers are working hard to find a solution. For further questions or more information, our customer service is at your disposal. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / sincerely Thermal Grizzly Web: www.thermal-grizzly.com Support: support@thermal-grizzly.com Sales: sales@thermal-grizzly.com It didnt arrived yet but this is not taking my hopes high... But lets see... On the other side i appreciate the "case handling" of them, have to admit that its a legit approach... Ill keep you posted...

Yes but lets see im eager to see some reviews but not sure if someone will cover this… im for sure gonna test it on my 14900k and with 2 air coolers… got the frost comander 140 and the phantom spirit evo looking forward for the results as the comander has the bigger coldplate and therefore more contact with the heatspreader… as well as its bigger - the cooler has more fins.. well curious …

Yeah would be as well tempted but its a challenge to place it somewhere… but as your slot is next to RAM it will be fine passive cooled from case airflow. So i would go for the thermalright HR-10 or HR-09. And the HR-09 has a nice finn design from the above so if it would fit under your RAM fan would be benefitial as well for it better then for the HR-10 which has a flat top not much suporting airflow from above… or buy all and ill buy from you all the thermal right one for the full price once you make the testing… Let us know how you desided….

Or take the ultimate king from the site you shared but it will require more space: Beyond Overkill Cooling – Jiushark M.2-THREE SSD

Im having as well the HR-09 in black and have to say im fine with it.. Cools nicely the PCIE gen 4 Disk... Regarding the M.2 2280 - performs as well as the MOBO heatsink from the test i saw, sou would not consider it much.. Im Would be goung with the HR-10 from Thermalright as it has 4 heatpipes, performs well and looks very nice.. And personal preference in this product i thing that fins add more than little fans.. But thats just my opinion.... And yes as wella ThermalRight "FAN" - on amazon youll find the HR-10 for about 10 USD/EUR/POUND... so its a nobrainer

Thanks Regarding the temps on a Xbox - didn't found anything what could help to measure the internal temps, but yeah im sure it helps, even you cant measure it you can feel it that its not becoming that hot at the exhaust (top of the console). BTW - one technical question, the last picture i inserted there is not appearing in the edit mode and im not able to delete it... Is there any bug?

DYI upcycled X-BOX active Fan cooler I bought an Xbox series X - have to say that small box is rly impressive and Quiet but as im obsessed to have all things kind off "cool" i started to look at any possibilities of an Cooler... I just found out there is nothing what would make sense. Most of the solutions are brainless gimmicks doing nothing just some RGB and noise or the best i found was to place another fan over the Fan of the Xbox.. Like yeah 2 fans are better then 1 but was not satisfied... So i was playing with the idea of making a cooler similar to the laptop ones... Which could be even cooling the external HDD... 1, Step bought an old Laptop cooler for about 3 USD: It came with a broken leg but solid Aluminum base which is perforated and it had a hub for 5V power supply by USB.. 2, Bought 3x 180mm Fans - Fractal design for 12 USD - for this i used one... 3, 3D printed by a friend a nice frame to cover all the cable's and having a stand... This is making the measurements.. 4, Cut out the needed base from the laptop cooler plate and just connected it with the FAN and painted it a bit... 5, Basically bought as well a USB to Fan header voltage converter from 5V to 12V for the FAN and as well some Led strips for ambient white light and a Noctua fan speed regulator and assembled all together.. Its visible on the pictures so what to say more I reused even the grey original stands from the laptop cooler and kept all the screws for future project ... And here is the final Product!: Let me know what you thing about it. I'm more then happy with the result as the Xbox and as well the External drive are much more cooler so the summer can come. And it didn't add any noise to the system so its Quiet powered just by 1 USB port of the Xbox.... I know its a Kids play compared to some projects here but wanted to share some experience. And im pretty sure this is one of its kind and its mine.
