  1. At first I was going to give you a colostomy bag, but that's still pooping. No. You will now barf up your undigested meals. I wish I could live forever.
  2. Sweet. Hold them for now and you can ship them directly to winners. I think @Fluxmaven also has some nice stickers to give away this time. I'll start you guys a group message and we will decide how they get awarded but I'm leaning on 1st place, 1st pick, and so on.
  3. Hey fellow Americans, don't mess this up. Look at the countdown timer. The event starts at 0000 UTC, but that's Friday at 7pm for us.
  4. Welcome to the ExtremeHW 3-day Folding Competition, January 21-23rd Countdown to Event Start Countdown to Event Stop ATTENTION Extreme Team Folding Participants: Please make sure you do not fold anything under your ETF GPU Passkey except for the GPU you are participating in the event with. You need to use a 2nd passkey to fold anything else in this event. In the spirit of folding for the cause and good old friendly competition between members, we are hosting another folding competition. For more details please see below. How to participate: During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902 You must post in this thread with "IN" followed by your folding username. Prizes: @neurotix has a keyboard, mousepad, and a couple fans to give away. See the pictures below. @Fluxmaven has some EHW sticker bling. See below. Folding Time Prizes: tbd Excluded from Prizes: n/a All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username. Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus. Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that. This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey. Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners. Current Event Stats: Note: Stats are updated every hour at XX:25 for previous hour of submitted Work Units. The first update at 00:25 AM UTC will set the "zero" for your points based on all the WU's submitted up to 12 AM UTC. Good luck to all!
  5. Yes you can check the bonus here: Folding@home Bonus Status APPS.FOLDINGATHOME.ORG
  6. Haha you'll have more points than me all year in like 3 days. Now that's a great winter folding overclock for heating the home, but I am much more curious at what kind of PPD that card can put out in a "summer folding mode" at like 100-150w. So if you have the time to create a couple profiles, I'd love to see just how efficient it can be with some undervolting and clock restraint. I tuned my 6900XT to fold at about 125w for this hell hole Alabama weather and it does pretty good PPD at 800mV.
  7. Nice work! Print that certificate!
  8. Quite an accomplishment

  10. I have two Ryzen builds that fold nvidia cards. I have two that fold Radeons. All are Windows 10. I don't know anything about the last 2 gen of Intel with the big-small cores. I would have thought that the efficiency cores would be very advantageous for folding. Just whatever you do don't get the Arc GPU. They currently don't fold because of precision limits.
  11. Pretty much what said, but I'm a little more conservative. On my 6 core Ryzens with 1 GPU I fold 10 of 12 threads. In my 8 core Ryzens with 1 GPU I fold 14 of 16 threads. With those configs the "inactive core" and its two threads are very loaded just managing stuff.
  12. Agreed. It looks amazing. We have a lot of hardware cups and medals. I should figure out how to change my hwbot name back to my forum handle.
  13. Probably confused the UTC Saturday midnight time. For Americans that means we have to start on Friday. But don't worry. This is a 3-day challenge so plenty of time for you to catch up. If this works out for everyone, I don't see why we shouldn't run 72 hour challenges through March.

  15. Hey Neuro, I forgot to ask you, what did you do with the other 5900x?
  16. That sounds awesome. How hot does it get in that basement with all of them running? Or does it stay cool?
