lmao 2 found and fixed. If we can find a 3rd I'll get naked! So yeah I was very much in a rush when I posted the foldathon. Lower back killing me, and as soon as I stumbled over to my computer I got accosted by at least 5 people and two dogs. Yeah so I got away without a proof read. Then I hit up a bottle of some dark rum. I think I got enough in me to quick take a shower before the buzz wears off and I remember this back pain -

Welcome to the ExtremeHW 48-hour Folding Competition, March 23rd, March 24th *UTC* Start Time: March 23 00:00 UTC End Time: March 25 00:00 UTC Countdown to Event Start Countdown to Event Stop ^^CLICK THOSE IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE NOT UTC TIME ZONE^^ How to participate: During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902 Stats: You can view the stats for the foldathon here: https://ehwfoldingstats.lazypenguin.com Prizes: p.m. @damric or @firedfly if you have something suitable to give away* Folding Time Prizes: tbd Excluded from Prizes: tbd Mind the EVENT START TIMER as it is UTC time zone. Note: Stats are updated as soon as possible, but less frequent than desired. Just keep folding! Note: Extreme Team Members remember to use a different pass key than your ETF key (If you don't know what that is then it probably does not apply to you). Folding is stressful on hardware, and will often break an overclock unless it's been tested with folding. I do not recommend overclocking high end GPUs as the power draw can be extreme while folding. If anything, try tuning for energy efficiency. Casualties happen and EXTREMEHW can not be held accountable if you destroy your hardware while folding. Thank you for your participation! *must be approved so please send message in private before posting.

2-3 weeks is what I have been seeing for mugs and hats that I've been giving out in foldathons. Will know hopefully soon for the deskmats and shirts that I ordered, but I would expect at least 2 weeks because they have to print them. Yeah poly/dry fit for shirts is preferred actually where I live since humidity plus yeah the print should last longer as well. But I only wear my printed shirts for special occasions so that they last longer anyway.

Yeah man I hate that the newer cards don't OC really. The RDNA 2 cards do with MPT though. You will probably enjoy those. But yeah my Vega 64 couldn't do much for the HBM, and it was limited to 1.2v on core.

I'll try and find my old tables where I basically unlimited the power and current. They are probably on a flash drive or disk in the office so might take some digging. If I can't find them, I'll link you the method I used to change the hex values. The trick is finding the right ones to change. When my water was very cold I could sustain 1800MHz for a lot of benches, but power draw was north of 450W.

I just watched the discord live feed of doing the prize draw. When the video finishes processing, it will be posted here. For those winners of CORSAIR and be quiet! prizes, please contact @Avacado and send him your shipping address, email, and phone number (sometimes required for delivery). For the winners of EXTREMEHW desk pads or tshirts, please send @damric your shipping address, email, and phone number (sometimes required for delivery). For the winners of the EXTREMEHW Premium Bronze Account, I will personally send @ENTERPRISE the list of names. For the winner of the Tofu Jr Keyboard, send @firedfly your shipping address and he will get that to @keeph8n.

Alright Team, we got about 2 hours to go. Make sure you click "FINISH" and complete your last WUs before logging out. We had over 40 people folding, and we have over 30 prizes to give away, plus some special forum signatures for everyone. Remember 1st place gets 1st prize pick, 2nd to 2nd, and 3rd to 3rd. The rest of the prizes will be random draw by @Avacado once I send him the final list of eligible people. Great effort everyone. I hope that you all join our smaller 48-hour monthly foldathons.

ok so I had this problem myself as an overclocker new to folding. You need to have 80% completion rate and at leat 10 WU completed to get the quick return bonus. Unfortunately you failed a lot of work units already, but in the grand scope of things 17 is nothing. When you get about 100 complete you should be good to go as long as you don't fail anymore. I'm guessing that would take you until the end of this week at your current progress. The only other thing you could do is use another email address to request a new key. But yeah when I was new to folding I had similar failures when I tried bashing down the door with huge overclocks that I thought were stable, but apparently not folding stable.
-
lol mine isn't either. I think it's the folding@home server's fault. But what is awesome is that it looks like you got your problems corrected and are now churning out the work units. Are you using a key to get a bonus? Folding@home Bonus Status APPS.FOLDINGATHOME.ORG You can check that link to verify your user/key combination is getting the quick return bonus, which is very substantial.

For the guys that normally don't fold often or are new to folding. Dial back those overclocks, espeically on the memory. F@H is more brutal than those synthetic stress tests and has like zero tolerance for errors, meaning the work units will fail if you are even slightly unstable. If anything, tune for efficiency as this is a marathon, not a sprint. Already had some people messaging me with problems on systems that they thought were 100% stable.
