  2. Congrats Team! @elblat You won the hat or mug+coaster. @T.Sharp You won the random draw of the DDR4 if you are in USA. If not, I'll have to redraw. You guys message me and we will get those sorted.
  3. Indeed and my ebay luck has been terrible this year with this sort of thing. If it turns out to be a scam then I'll probably just get one of the cheap generic ones that has software voltage control.
  4. Well it was described as TOP, and the pictures looked like a TOP, and it costed me twice as much as the generic ones so it better be a TOP when it arrives
  5. I have 5950x and 6900xt and whenever I fold on the 5950x it crashes. It's a known problem with these for some reason. I tried both pro, whql, and adrenaline thinking it was my 6900xt. Increased my psu, put bios in default settings, nothing helped. I finally found some some posts and someone mentioned only folding on one of the chiplets using process lasso. I'm testing that this weekend. So far no crash. We'll see.
  6. My ebay offer was accepted, so I reckon I'm IN on this one. I was hoping to use my very good HD 7850, but ASUS TOP GTX 560 will do.
  7. Added an additional prize, but I'm not shipping that RAM out of USA
  8. Been rebuilding my folding rigs all week and hope to have the main one chugging along very soon.
  9. Looking forward to seeing the debut. Don't get frustrated if you run into some kinks along the way.
  10. Looking good! I'm guilty of keeping and using very old thermal grease as well. I finally finished a big tube of the MX-4 2019 edition last month That is weird with the 6+8 pins.
  11. Already? What hardware will it be this time? I love cheap!
  12. No worries. When you get that monster up and crunching it will truly be marvelous!
  13. Maybe needs 10 work units for the quick return bonus
  14. Weird. Maybe it just needs a little more time to update?
  15. AFAIK you don't actually need to use the same pass key. I've experimented with this and you could use your own pass key with the name Hertz and it would still put the points on his name, just under your key. Try this today or whenever by running a WU like that and see what happens. The last time I experimented with this was with the TPU Kreij account back in March. I'm not saying I might not be wrong though. @BWG has the Hertz key. He has been retired from here for a bit though. Could try and reach him on the discord server.
  16. I hear you, but it's a bad trend for both brands. I long for the days where they factory tuned these cards for descent power draw and leaving a nice chunk of OC headroom instead of slamming the clocks up nearly to the silicon limit.
  17. That's the last of what I have for this year's TC https://hwbot.org/submission/5345799_ https://hwbot.org/submission/5344229_ https://hwbot.org/submission/5335701_
  18. Yeah man need more stuff. All that's in the store now are two stickers, a hat, coffee mugs and coasters.
  19. @ENTERPRISE I love using the EHW merchandise store for folding prizes. 1) Where are the t-shirts? Are they coming back to the store soon? 2) Need mouse pads and drink coolers/coozies! 3) Stickers are nice but we need some magnets! 4) Ball cap is ok but can we get a beanie cap and a bandana?
  20. It's that time again. Contest starts about a week after the HWBOT team comp is finished so hopefully we can get some bench rigs repurposed in time for this.
  21. Link Random draw, 10 WU minimum to qualify, USA only. Folding Time Prizes: tbd Excluded from Prizes: damric Mind the EVENT START TIMER as it is UTC time zone. Note: Stats are updated as soon as possible, but less frequent than desired. Just keep folding! Note: Extreme Team Members remember to use a different pass key than your ETF key (If you don't know what that is then it probably does not apply to you). Folding is stressful on hardware, and will often break an overclock unless it's been tested with folding. I do not recommend overclocking high end GPUs as the power draw can be extreme while folding. If anything, try tuning for energy efficiency. Casualties happen and EXTREMEHW can not be held accountable if you destroy your hardware while folding. Thank you for your participation! *must be approved so please send message in private before posting.
  22. I agree with your points. The MI25 is truly a labor of love project at this point. For performance at just about anything your money is better spent elsewhere now that the worst GPU crunch is over.
