  1. Fiancee's GMMK v2 fullsize. Changed keycaps to XVX Great Wave Off Kanagawa. Switches changed from Box White to Box Navy. Has WASD blue o-rings. Only two keys didn't work and had bent pins; I had 6 extra.
  2. Exactly what I was thinking. They mark it as an espresso, but in reality if it's beans it needs to be made in an espresso machine to actually be espresso. Otherwise, it is just beans you can just as well grind or get grinded and use in a "normie" coffee machine. lol
  3. Getting it but because we're in Murica, it's going to take 10 days minimum to arrive. We're getting drip grind and it'll be made in our basic Cuisinart drip pot. Hopefully that is ok even though it's an espresso. I'll report back with my thoughts on it once I have it.
  4. Fiancee has a GMMK v2 fullsize, currently with Box White switches and PBT pudding keycaps. She said she really likes heavier switches now that she's been using her Keynovo IF98 with Box Heavy Pale Blue (60g I believe). So, I will be refurbishing her well- used GMMK with Box Navy switches, and that Great Wave Off Kanagawa keycap set that I took off of my Keychron K8. Looking forward to how it turns out and if she likes it; it's not in my list in the spreadsheet but can be added once I finish it.
  5. Thanks for the link. Got a lot of Kicking Horse coffee because of you guys in this thread. Maybe I'll check them out. What kind do you recommend? I would love a double shot espresso cappuccino that you mentioned, lol.
  6. All way beyond me man, and my single serve Cuisinart I have every morning, french vanilla. And then a single cup of Columbian from the drip brew pot. I can say that I am pretty much addicted to Cameron's black masala chai with brown sugar. If you or anyone else isn't aware, putting milk in tea causes the milk to bond to the catechins and make them inert. So you don't get the health benefits that come from drinking tea if you add milk or creamer. No effect from chemicals like ECGC. Nevertheless, we have Half & Half to make chai lattes with.
  7. Since my Keychron K8 Pro has custom Plum Crazy plastidip on the top plate, and I already have a Japanese art themed board with my GMMK full size, I decided to get some Kraken Keyboards keycaps for it. Before. After. Unfortunately the stock spacebar with this set broke (it was purple), but my wonderful fiance managed to dig up a black spacebar from God knows where so we used that. This is the set: Amazon.com T.LY
  8. Cooler Master Mastermouse RGB. MM520 I think. I use a claw grip for games sometimes but also a palm grip for desktop Linux use. I *love* the ring finger rest on the side. Other people hate it and it confuses them and they end up turning it sideways either direction, kind of like that old Apple original iMac mouse that was a circle.
  9. Had to look those up. Never heard of them. I guess the ones I saw were tactile. Also, they are shaped like Outemu switches, interesting. So I'm guessing you're after tactile switches. Any ideas on keycaps? If you want I have a big ass bag of Gateron yellows you can have for free. They're linear BUT until I looked it up I thought they were tactile. Actually feel pretty nice.
  10. What switches are you considering, Pook?
  11. Let us know what you end up going with for switches and keycaps. I also have the K8 Pro with Box Navy and Japanese art keycaps (that I'm considering changing to purple to match the purple plastidip on the board) I think you knew that already though since I think I recommended the Keychron K8 Pro to you.
  12. For those with back or neck pain, or even pain in the limbs, this helps me a lot: Amazon.com A.CO Massage table warmer but you can use it as a heating pad. Just don't put it under your top sheet and try and use it as a mattress pad warmer or you'll fry it (this happened to one we gave to my sister).
  13. It's perfectly understandable and (no offense) a generational thing and I think particularly with men. Don't sweat it. I can look up what having no spleen means or does to you on my own, or ask my mom who was a nurse for 25 years. Either way, I wish you the best of good health going forward.
  14. Touche. This is off topic though, the weather is getting better here which might mean I can post some photos of me rockin' EHW shirts next time I post in this thread.
  15. Thanks for sharing, guys. I knew most of speed_demon's issues from a Discord DM. Hope things get better for you soon. Jan, thank you for the story and effing ouch! You're tough to survive that. What kind of issues does not having a spleen cause? I am also disheartened to hear you had a hospital stay recently, but if you'd rather not share I can understand why. Me well, last year Sept. 8th I had surgery on my left hip to repair a torn labrum and hip cam and pincer impingement. It's helped significantly though I am still recovering so have some bad pain in it sometimes for a few days at a time. I did 4 months physical therapy twice a week as well (which more often than not set off the pain and made things worse). Long story short - I had physical therapy, I got an MRI and a CAT scan of my right hip and am due to have all the same surgeries on April 4th on my right hip. Followed by 5 months physical therapy. The left was done so now I'm set to do the right. Then we'll have to see about doing something for my neck pain, ECT wrecked my neck.
