  1. Hey Luke did you add me? I just realized when I looked that I'm not in the spreadsheet in the original post. @damric
  2. Thank you. I also have a Corsair C70 Vengeance full tower case with fans in it I am looking to get rid of, but it would have to be local pickup only (Illinois) because it would probably cost me $200 to ship. Additionally I can contribute a pretty much new and never used Yate Loon 240mm fan, its giant and would be great set up vertically next to a test bench. I also have a very high speed Delta fan that I modded to use 7v instead of 12v. It requires a fan 3 pin connection and a molex as well. Also damric you should add the stuff I have as well as Flux's stickers to the prize list.
  3. Not entirely happy with the way the retro/vaporwave one turned out. I think it is going to take some more work. I was not sure what to put between the synthwave grid and the logo, also the logo when colorized to magenta ended up looking more purple than magenta. I wanted like one of those electrical engineering diagram things between the logo and the synthwave grid (which is missing it's bottom), but maybe I should put a generic icon of a pc or a picture of a voltmodded GPU with pots and caps on it. Any suggestions welcome.
  4. "All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username. Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus. Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that. This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey. Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners." I'm confused by this. Is there anything I need to do like set up a new passkey and change it and use it only for those 72 hours, or can I simply continue to fold as I have been and you'll track my points when I start and when I finish? I've never done a foldathon. Also, my current passkey and username were made on an email I cannot access anymore, thankfully my wife had an old email with a copy of my passkey I've used since I started folding in 2012. Thanks.
  5. I can offer up two prizes for this, damric. I have been wanting to get rid of these forever. If you pm me privately with your address I will ship them both to you for you to ship to the winner or whatever. @damric
  6. How do you get the folding@home fight covid-19 badge?
  7. Generally around 31m PPD with the core hovering around 2885MHz. This card CAN do 3090MHz fine with Windows and benching, however in Linux using GreenWithEnvy I've noticed if I put the core higher than 2900MHz then GWE will show the speed dropping to 2000MHz for a couple seconds then going back up while folding. It might be because I can't control the voltage. It holds 2880MHz stable and continuously though. TL;DR 31m ppd at 2880/12220MHz (my memory overclocks really well. Stock mem is 10500).
  8. Earned 22m points for the team so far and it hasn't even been 24 hours. lol Folding@home | Statistics STATS.FOLDINGATHOME.ORG Folding@home Statistics
  9. Thanks guys. I just checked and it says bonus active, though I don't believe I've completed 10. (Maybe I have though since this monster chews through the WUs I'm getting in like 15-30 minutes)
  10. Retro T-shirt. Not sure I'm totally happy with it but w/e. Have more ideas/plans for shirts tomorrow The japanese at the top says Extreme Hardware and the japanese on the bottom of the logo says "pushing it to the limit"
  11. No option to control voltage at all in Linux. Take a look. Had to remember to blur my ip address Edit: Also is the quick return bonus still a thing? I'll start making more points once I submit 10 WUs?
  12. Sorry for double posting. @Avacado, how do you get your folding stats in your signature like that? I think I want to do the same.
  13. Here is a black logo with "pushing it to the limit" centered and in medium gray, this one is for use on a black hat (baseball cap). Though it will probably be up to Enterprise to find a good cap maker online. (For t-shirts I suggest redbubble).
  14. Alright guys, sorry for the long delay on this thread. I thought that if we are going to have merch, that we should add ".net" to the existing logo so if people see us wearing a t-shirt they'll know it's a website and maybe check it out and join. If I can get a shirt, I'd go to Microcenter and wear it, etc. I think people are far less likely to just look up ExtremeHW or what looks like XtremeHW because of how the E looks in the logo. So, I have been going back and forth with Enterprise for a week and he approved usage of the logo I made with .NET on the end. I could not use the exact font but I used a similar one and manually stretched it to about the same thickness as the original. Also attached is a zip file containing the GIMP .xcf as well as a .psd of the logo. ehwlogo-net.zip
  15. I got it figured out and the flatpak application GreenWithEnvy works. Curiously, I am actually able to increase my power limit to 480w which I can't do at all in Windows for benching. Anyway, I thought you guys would wanna see this ppd:
  16. I've joined the team and hopefully my points from OCN will carry over. (144m). I have folding set up in Linux, GPU only. Anyone folding on Linux? I'm on Mint but I don't see the Flatpak app GreenWithEnvy available when I search in Software Manager. I need that to OC the card. It's doing pretty well and hovering around 55C with 80% fan.
  17. Fond memories of the Vishera club and we talked a lot back then. Can't believe that was over 10 years ago. I'm sure you must remember me. Welcome to a site without 25 tracking scripts, @Alastair
  18. Sadly, I'm not very well versed in retro pc gaming. I know and played Sim City/SC2000, Doom (all of the DOS ones), Duke3D, original Wolfenstein and the Epic games like Jazz Jackrabbit, One Must Fall, Tyrian, etc. I'm guessing it wasn't the original Doom. Could it have been Marathon or it's sequel? Made by Bungie and Macintosh only I think. Otherwise go watch LGR videos on YouTube til you find it or ask in the comments. I mostly played all the FF games over and over back then, Street Fighter series, some shmups like Gradius III, beat em ups at friends houses like Streets of Rage and Final Fight, and for the 3D era I was playing everything Square released on my PlayStation, and Mario 64 and Wave Race on my 64. In the early 2000s I played pc games on a Pentium 4 1.8Ghz with a GeForce MX4000 (potato rig). I played Ragnarok Online(where I met my wife) Lineage 2 and WoW so I missed a lot being addicted to MMOs. Sorry.
  19. @Fluxmavenadded you to the club. @Sir Beregond did anything I mentioned for Dreamcast ring a bell, or has it been too long? I'm a huge Dreamcast fan and own 2 of them and even some boxed VMUs (the memory card for it you could play simple games on).
