  1. I'll have to measure it later then. Thanks again. I will get to everyone else's posts later when I have time. Rep all around.
  2. Will do. I used to watch Gamer's Nexus and a lot of other YouTube channels, but haven't really since 2020. I'll watch it.
  3. Thank you so much @Slaughtahouse!!! Will definitely double check to make sure it's seated fully.
  4. Hey all. I got a brand new Superflower Leadex VII XG 1300w powering my kit currently. My use includes folding pretty much 24/7. I wanted to get opinions or make sure what we've done is safe. Basically, we needed to kink the wire below the 12VHPWR connector to keep the connector itself straight, and to be able to put my side glass window on without it pushing down on the 12VHPWR at the actual connection which is bad. Afaik on the GPU side it connects to two PCI-E 8-pin connectors and those are straight but in their advertising they said "safer design to prevent bend issue", implying that bending the PCI-E on the PSU side is okay. Wondering if bending the wire like we have on the GPU side is okay too. Opinions or suggestions welcome, or even just a validation that what I'm doing is going to be safe long term for a relatively high demand scenario. Thanks in advance
  5. This seems to be showing the current season stats. Any way it could be all-time stats? (That way I'm higher than Luke)
  6. I can't manage and run this or anything, Bastiaan and server075 should being the HWBOT team captains. I remember doing some competitions on OCN, they were seasonal. Like 4 times a year. I participated in one called "Freezer Burn" back in 2020 or so, there were prizes like packets of Kingpin KPX and they had 15, along with a memory kit and something else. Well, I did pretty well in it in all 5 stages BUT received no prize. They had like 15 packs of KPX and barely 15 people participated, yet I never got a prize Still salty about that.
  7. Super Flower Leadex VII XG 1300W 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular Power Supply - ATX 3.0 Compatible - Micro Center WWW.MICROCENTER.COM Get it now! Leadex VII XG is fully compatible with Intel ATX 3.0 Specifications, supporting up to 200%... Also have this on the way since my Seasonic Vertex GX won't power on anymore, we thought it was a short somewhere but its actually the PSU and I've only had it for a year and 3 months or something. Hopefully this Superflower does it's duty powering my rig folding, and hope there is a minimum of downtime.
  8. Those Athlons had no L3 cache. The Phenoms do. I get your point though.
  9. Japanese snacks Dorayaki, Calbee hot and spicy chips (these are the bomb) and Pocari Sweat which is the most popular sports drink in East Asia and South Asia (it sort of tastes like a watered down Lemon-Lime Gatorade) Got them from yamibuy.com. Instead of having to drive an hour to Mitsuwa market in Arlington Heights.
  10. You'd need to buy and throw in a Phenom II x3 720 BE or something then, and overclock it.
  11. I found a really good overclocking guide for Kaby Lake that includes memory and uncore OC, and has suggested values for overclocking ram for the CPU System Agent Voltage as well as the VCCIO voltage, so it gives me a rough idea how much to increase them to try and get a high, stable RAM OC. The Kaby Lake overclocking guide ROG.ASUS.COM The Kaby Lake overclocking guide - Republic of Gamers
  12. What I'm getting is 3200MHz c14-14-14. I run the same kit in @bridgypoos rig at 3733MHz 16-16-16. I've run it at 4266MHz c19 before out of ratio just to test, and it was like 15 dividers higher than what it's rated for. I'm wondering if when you ran 4200c16 if you tweaked secondary and tertiary timings at all, or just set the primaries and speed. Also what processor/gen you were on. Wondering if you upped IMC voltage at all too.
  13. So, because my mom's Kaby Lake box has some ancient form of Hynix DDR4 that won't overclock at all, I ordered some of this: Amazon.com WWW.AMAZON.COM Single rank B-Die, 16GB. We actually got a kit of it off eBay for $30. Including box. So my question is, what speeds can I reasonably expect to get on Kaby Lake with this memory? Do I need to mess with uncore at all? Do I need to up IMC voltage and to what? What should I aim for? I'm pretty good at Ryzen memory OC but never really done Intel. Can Avacado help? @Avacado Thanks everyone. Just want to oc the memory as much as possible but I need a starting point to aim for.
  14. Thanks for sharing. Yes, this is awesome, I guess I will be doing my mom's i5 box. It only has 3000MHz ram, but I have settings written down from when I tuned and overclocked it. It can do 5GHz for benching but daily it gets run at 4.5.
  15. Yeah I was having this problem a few days ago.
  16. I'll try to participate on AM4 with a 5900x if allowed. Do any of the Intel stages include Kaby Lake i5s? Because that's the other rig I have. My personal rig doesn't qualify for AM5 being X3D.
  17. I'm highly interested in the Ballistix RAM for my mom's box. It's Kaby Lake and currently has 3000MHz G.skill ram of some sort that won't budge on the speed at all.
  18. Pokemon Black is a great game. Has one of the best regions (Unova I think) and a really good selection of new Pokemon. It also has a decent amount of endgame stuff to do like the battle tower in Black City, and the battle subway where you do 3v3 Pokemon battles. Mario Kart DS is good too. Ya gotta get Super Mario All-Stars for that SNES if you like Mario games.
