Having a little hiccup with the stats system so I notified zodac. So the card isn't officially changed yet since it keeps timing out when I try and access Hacksword, but it's fine, just keep folding.

already moved the folding VM over to it. just a few more VMs to go.

Been messing with my GPUs some and will have to get my card updated. Don't think I've been outputting ETF points for quite a few days now that I think about it.

Changed hardware back and forth a couple times since last posting, but I should be settled now. Requested a hardware change on the ETF stats site as well, so I should be back in order soon myself.

Just swapped out my 3070 Ti for one of the tried and true 1070 Tis so I can use it for testing in another rig. Just submitted a request for a hardware change.

 

@u3b3rg33k how's your hardware holding up?

 

Looks like @Hacksword has been mia from the forums for nearly a year now. I'll look into recruiting someone else.

 

I should definitely check on our stats/points outputs more often.

From the info I gathered, the new Intel GPUs will AGAIN not support FP64 and thus will not be able to fold. A shameful missed opportunity.

Nvidia just wrecks everything else at folding. The PPD on the 40 series is nuts. My 4070 Ti will do a few million PPD more than my 3090 while using half the power.

I'll probably pick up one of the B series cards too, bummer I maybe/probably can't fold on it after benchmarking / overclocking fun. 

 

EDIT: Also yea, my 4070 Super wrecks my 2070, 5x faster

Definitely add me to the list of folks interested in picking up a B580 to play with. Never did pick up an A770, but maybe some day.

I need to redo my A770 benches now that drivers have matured. I was the first person to sub one to HWBot but obviously those scores were destroyed once drivers got better. Also in the hands of people that actually know what they are doing 

 

It's been a decent loaner card. I've had two different friends use it while saving up to buy better cards.

 

Would have been really cool if Intel could have came out with something around 4080 performance for Battlemage.
