For science, titanium dioxide

I always wonder what exactly those companies put in the "coolant solutions" to make the different colors and not screw up the physical and chemical properties. I have a theory that it is glycol (propylene glycol is in food coloring). I suspect that to make white/pastels they are using titanium dioxide. I have read that in some industrial experiments that it can help improve heat transfer. I doubt it. For like $5 I ordered some pure white powder and it arrived today. I drained 150ml of water from my tester/folder rig, mixed up 150ml of distilled water with 15ml of the powder and added it to the rig.

 

What could go wrong?
