Oooh please someone install and give feedback so we don't have to rely on timid/forced editorials on how great or how bad it is!

Please!

It's been available in beta for a while. I have it installed and I think a few other people from here do as well. It's pretty much exactly the same as 10 with some minor visual upgrades. I haven't had any issues.

Well alrighty then!  I'll wait until it becomes free to 10 users for upgrade.

You can install it now if you want to, it's very stable. All you have to do is opt into the windows insider program which you can do from the settings menu. It's really simple.

Or you Download an ISO and do it that way for a fresh install. You can just plug in your Win10 license during setup, will work fine.

Wondering just how compatible WIN 11 will be with software like Aquasuite, and all the devices and their drivers associated with it.

Thanks, E. Did you do a fresh install, or upgrade from a WIN 10 instance?

While some people across the Internet have been complaining about the lack of updates for systems with older CPUs, I'm thinking about how great it is that you essentially get Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC (at least in terms of system updates) on those machines without having to jump through any hoops.

11 seems like it'll be the first Windows since 7 that I don't expect to have reservations about installing with my next new computer.

You have AMD, right? There's something in the BIOS settings you need to change.

Haha... I too got that but I have an i9-10850K and Z490............... I assume TPM just needs to be enabled in BIOS? 🤔

Expand

Correct. Usually you will find the settings under Secure Computing but it varies from BIOS to BIOS.

Yeah you just need to enable AMD FTPM which will be found under CPU options and ensure Secure Computing is enabled.
