In R23 12900K score about 19K with just P-Core and 26K with P+E. That is ~7K for E-Cores.

If we dont included and clk speed increase and no IPC increase it will be ~ 26K+7K = 33K. That is quite impressive increase assuming it does not need more power. I suspect 6950X with 16C will probably have no trouble hitting 33K considering AMD said 5GHz all core and I score 33K with 5950x with 4.7GHz all core OC.

I'm hoping to also see some news about the 'bigger brother' HEDT version (successor to 10980XE so to speak) which should have a lot more P and E cores, plus at least '8'-channel DDR5...and the next-gen Epyc (and AM5 based Threadrippers?) apparently get '12'-channel DDR5, and up to 96 cores per CPU

I am interested to see if they have an i5 "little brother" to the 13900K, like the i5 9600K was to the i9 9900K. Seems these have the best cost/performance ratio on the market. And even now with ADL they are doing that. Take for example, the 12600K, which is half the price of the 12900K but performs nearly on par with it. Obviously, it's not going to crush multi core benchmarks as rapidly but will be more forgiving (most likely) when it comes to overclocking as these i5 chips will produce less heat than the flagship chips, so you wont need to build out your cooling system to the extreme to go super fast. Unless you want to  

 

Just wanted to point that out. I am done with my six core 9600KF and I'm ready for more cores, but I thought it should be mentioned at least.

I am hoping we see some HEDT stuff from Intel this year.
