Hey all, happy to be aboard, i'm an OG from OCN getting back into it.

Celebrating 15 years with the same HAF932 case this fall, and as many builds in it.

From i7 920 to i9 14900K; first SSD to only NVME and SSD's, X58 to Z790, 9800 GX2 to 3080 Ti, triple channel DDR3 to dual DDR5, cathode tubes to the modern RGB LED craze, this case has always been part of the ride...

Shoutout to GanjaSMK for the info; good to be back to an indie OC forum!

First pic late 2008 (?), 2nd late 2023...

LMAO thanks! Glad to be aboard.

A GREAT buddy of mine scored a MINT 932 Advanced from his coworker for $40 two months ago... I delidded, OC'ed, LiquidMetal/PTM7950/TGPP10'ed and tuned his 13600KF and RTX 3070...

We may not be related, but now we joke that we are HAF bros...

His has all-black guts and silver MSI mobo, mine is grey guts with a black Apex Encore mobo, so 'switched at birth' HAF bros...

Our girls just dont get it... Doesnt matter; still one of THE BEST performing cases for airflow and options out there... Those 230mm side fans are so quiet and push soo much air... Plus the front 230's and bottom 120's help...

His build in below pic while testing. i wish Cooler Master built a more modern HAF 932 equivalent; even the HAF-X was a downgrade.

I can understand it.  I'm looking at those older HAF cases because of all the 5.25 bays.  But I did recently do a build in the HAF700.  Honestly, for such a giant ass case I loved it. 🙂  Don't get rid of that old case man, they're SOOOOOO hard to find now.

Fan of Cooler Master? We will be putting together build with the HAF 700 Case, MasterLiquid PL360 Flux & XG850 Plus Platinum PSU, Read...

Im never getting rid of my 932; my 'HAF bro' isnt getting rid of his ever either. His temps dropped about 15c switching to that case from a pretty NZXT greenhouse/hotbox.

Thats a nice lookin' case you have... I do like the look of the modern simple glass cases, but their thermal performance is abysmal.

Side fans kick ass, and bigger is better; quieter with higher CFM over greater area. Under load, my system is still quieter than a PS4.

I had 16x 2.5" 7200rpm Samsung HDD's in two RAID arrays with same AMS/Venus 4x2.5" backplanes, with two ARECA 1222 RAID cards, a Blu Ray burner, card reader, and STILL had 4x HDD's and 2x SSD's in that HAF 932. ZERO thermal issues.

Ive yet to find a case that is worth it to replace this 932.

I wish i never sold my 2nd one for the bullshit HAF-X; that thing was less adaptable AND louder with WORSE temps.

If you find a 932, snag it.

If a case works, it works! Nothing wrong with keeping hold of something, if it ain't broke, don't fix it 😛

Long time EVGA forums member (since 04/2009) looking for a new forum to call home now that EVGA has pretty much ended itself. One of our mods (Cool GTX) suggested ExtremeHW. Just having a look around for now. Cheers.

Welcome fam! Cool GTX was a great help in our annual folding competition we had back in March. We are currently planning the next event which should take place in February. Let us know if you need anything.

Would you be willing to expand on "EVGA is ending itself"? This will help me to know if I need to expedite the mass driver downloads from their site to my NAS for all the EVGA tech I have.

Welcome to ExtremeHW, hopefully you can find a new home here 🙂

It is really sad with respects to EVGA, I do not know specifically what is happening with their community, but I was super sad to see their exit from the GPU segment 😞

I think the consensus is that sooner or later EVGA is on the way out entirely given GPUs were basically the bulk of their business.

I've also been watching the forums for the Z790 boards and people are loudly complaining about lack of new BIOS for 14th gen. So for now will probably get a 13900ks for the Z790 Dark board I got.
