Who Else Thinks SQL Server is Annoying?

I'm in college of course. for IT Engineering.

 

my last 3 courses have involved SQL server. after 4 months of it i hope i dont see another SQL server for at least a year. maybe longer.

 

every backup or replication process seems to break itself after it does it successfully time after time for weeks.

never worked with SQL, but I'm pretty sure it stands for Status Quo Lost...

I also don't "work" with it, but if memory serves, I've seen instances of it consuming 100% of system memory on machines people have brought me in the past for a "tune up".

I used SQL (not quite the same as SQL server, but I imagine it's similar to some degree) for roughly a year when I did a few co-op rotations a couple years ago working for BMW. Prior to that, 90% of my programming experience was in C. Maybe it's because of that background, teaching myself SQL was extremely weird, but once I got used to it, I found it to be pretty neat. Though, I used it pretty much exclusively within Oracle Apex I think it was, so I may not have gotten the full picture.
