How to Post News Here on EHW

Quick general guide for news posts:

 

General Rules:

Any forum members can post news here, not just staff. Any member is free to post any topic you find interesting, as long as it's tech related.

 

• All news articles must come from a legitimate source, and the source needs to be posted somewhere in the post.
• Add your source tag to the post by clicking "choose" right under the title bar. If your tag doesn't show up, click "add tags" instead. 

 

 

Format:

Typically, a news posts is a quote from a news article, followed by a link to the source. It can also include relevant images and videos.

 

Title:

The title should match the title from the source article, but it is OK to change/shorten the title as needed. Click-bait should always be avoided. 

 

Sources:

In general, anything can be a valid source as long as the info it's presenting is relevant and legitimate. 

 

 

 

 

That's pretty much it. Just a few simple rules and guidelines to follow.
