ATTENTION Extreme Team Folding Participants: Please make sure you do not fold anything under your ETF GPU Passkey except for the GPU you are participating in the event with. You need to use a 2nd passkey to fold anything else in this event.

 

In the spirit of folding for the cause and good old friendly competition between members, we are hosting another folding competition. For more details please see below.

 

How to participate:

During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902
You must post in this thread with "IN" followed by your folding username.

All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username.  Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus.  Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that.  This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey.

Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners.

Note: Stats are updated every hour at XX:25 for previous hour of submitted Work Units.  The first update at 00:25 AM UTC will set the "zero" for your points based on all the WU's submitted up to 12 AM UTC.

It's still summer here so I'm all out of whack

 

Seriously this late in the year and we're having to run air conditioning. Combine that with the stupid clock switching and I'm lucky I could get myself dressed this morning.

 

Btw do you guys ever look at the graphic I use for the event countdown timers? I painstakingly choose from the available generic templates

@Enterprise recently added an embedded countdown timer to the site, the one we used for the HWbot team cup countdown. I am certain that you could ask him to apply that to the foldathons, though that may get monotonous mothly if he is the only one able to set the parameters.

I can do that no problem, just so long as someone sends me a PM asking and preferably a little ahead of time so I have time to get it sorted

testing the latest drivers for AMD... no added performance from what I can see, but still pushing an estimated 4 million points per day so at least no regression.  It's cold here and I'm already folding for heat LOL.

I just remembered this was happening this weekend. I typically hook my travel PC up in my cube and fold with free power from the office on that machine  

 

We worked late every day this week so I took today off and forgot to leave it on. Oh well I'll just be down a 1080ti

thanks for the well wishes!  Same to you, so far so good on mine, I started early for the heat.  temps well within normal, no melting connectors detected and room temp, comfy, which is great since it's freezing cold outside.
