NVIDIA has observed a significant upswing in its market value recently, with a brief stint in the club of public U.S. companies valued above $1 trillion.

Even though NVIDIA faced stagnant revenue growth and wage cuts for certain executives in 2022, the financial forecast for the current year seems promising. With competitors such as Intel and AMD gradually closing in with their own AI processing technologies, the market response to NVIDIA's AI GPUs upon the entrance of alternative products remains uncertain.

 

NVIDIA's stock value has significantly increased, almost tripling in under eight months, primarily driven by developments in generative AI. Since October, the company has seen around a 200% increase, outperforming other S&P 500 index constituents. AMD and Intel need to catch up ASAP!

Nvidia is king for AI acceleration and they are going to reap those rewards. With A.I arguably becoming more mainstream, they are only going to increase their market share. 

 

I would have liked more competition in this space, like with gaming from AMD and Intel. It is almost worst in the AI arena as Intel and AMD are at least from the surface have not invested as much as they should have...IMHO. 

 

The one thing I do not like about this is Nvidia is going to just keep growing, mostly unchecked and its going to hurt the consumers.

And this is why Nvidia doesn't care that nobody is buying 40-series (aside from the 4090).
