Gigabyte is not new to the PC component market by any stretch of the imagination, but like many, they are always releasing new products to entice money out of our wallets. Today we look at the AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD 1TB, a drive that offers blistering sequential read speeds: up to 10,000MB/s & sequential write speeds: up to 9,500MB/s. Will this be a winning product from Gigabyte that makes you part with your hard earned cash? Read on to find out.

That was a wonderful read boss man.  Sounds like Gigabyte has their act together on this SSD, looks like this SSD might be worth every penny of the Gen5 pricing.  The included heatsink also appears like it might put high end tower coolers to shame too..... :lachen:Spot on review!  Was well worth the read!

Very good review. Nice job, bro.

Looks like an excellent Gen5 NVMe option. Quite the fancy heat sink on it. I am assuming you use the slot closest to the CPU, above the GPU on your MSI Meg ACE X670E. Did you have plenty of clearance for the GPU with that big NVMe heat sink, or was it a tight fit there?

Correct, there is a M.2 slot adjacent to the CPU right next to the RAM. The clearance was fine from the GPU due to where it is situated, but more importantly MSI designed the mobo well so that an NVMe with a large heatsink comes nowhere close to interfering with the RAM. I will have to add a picture to the review.

Nice review. Good thing it has a monster of a heatsink. I have trouble cooling all of the Gen 4 drives I have installed in my 3960X rig.

How do you like the X670E Ace? I purchased the same mobo when a colleague traded his 7600X to me for an Intel 11900K. It sits on my test bench until I make the decision on whether I am going to go with a 4090 or 7900 XTX.

I am liking the Ace so far, though I have not really put it to much of a test so far as system tweaking just yet. I do like the I/O of the motherboard, one of the main reasons I got it was for the 10GB Lan as my internal network all runs through 10GB, so that was a must for me.
