Big time. I got up to 19 wus completed and stalled out completely. Maybe it'll pick back up in the next day or two, I highly doubt they're going to let this added computer time go to waste if they can help it.

Is the alternative still Boinc to keep your cards hot? I've never done anything besides fold.. I'm leaving mine on, just set to fold when I go idle

Yeah, sure. things like GPUgrid are good (for this cause too). Any GPUs I have that are decent at double precision work are assigned to Milkyway when free (it's run out of RPI and I have a connection to that University). I tend to do little compute work on CPUs tho.

Hopefully more Work Units will make it out. Im about to spin up my machine so will see if I get some after my current ones complete. I hope to do this type of giveaway again for sure. Hoping to do a more routine one but obviously prizing won't be as substantial every time lol.

So I just though I would give a little update, we have submitted as of today 1639 WU's to the cause. That is fantastic work chaps ! Oh and I seem to be downloading work units again now after a PC reboot.

Today was allright on my end, did a few gpu units too and the cpu has almost no downtime.

I have a pretty chonky WU going right now. It started 2 hours ago, there's an ETA of 45 minutes and it's on 76%. Estimated credits for this one is 180K.

I had the 13877 today, took about 2 hours. According to the project description it is the "same" type.

Not sure about the points though, I wasn't at home ?

Pretty much all of the ones I've been getting are for 13873. Almost all of them are done in 1-1.5hrs. I've had two so far (including this one) that's taking close to 3 hours to do.

GPU Units are coming through, just sparingly I find.

 

So I just did a little count and we are up to 1950 Work Units submitted ! Not too shabby at all.:eat_cheers:
