That is one of the most important things!  I just started up some systems and realized I was folding for the wrong team (was still configured for a folding event for another team).

 

In addition to the team, make sure you have a passkey configured.  That enables quick return bonus points and is where most of the points come from.

yeah like firedfly said, request a passkey from f@h so that you get the quick return bonus. The qrb kicks in after 10 WUs completed, then your points will be huge.

Also @Sir Beregondwe need all the points we can get. Any way you could set that bedroom rig with a 3080ti to just fold during the day when no one's in the room, then pause it overnight?

 

Protip: leave the door to the room open and it won't turn into a bakery. Believe it or not, a humble 3060 I have turns the room it's in into an oven with the door shut, but with the door open it's not hot at all.

I will do when I can. Yeah I have door open and window popped open. Still hotboxes like crap. My condo isn't your house. 

 

I started up the 3080 Ti 2 hours ago since I left the house and won't be back in another 3-4 hours, so will see how that goes. 

 

This is also my daily use rig so won't be folding when I am using it in the evening before bed. I will do what I can though when I can. Better than nothing.

By just the usual amount unless I get lost and end up at Microcenter. That streaming rig I just built has an Intel Arc card which unfortunately doesn't support folding.

Still a cool and interesting card to have. I'd be curious what it compares to from Nvidia or AMD for gaming.

 

Maybe they'll be able to develop and shrink it enough that it could go in their processors eventually and provide better performance from the IGP. Afaik the integrated graphics on say, a Ryzen laptop still stomps all over Intels laptops in gaming.

It's about another half million, worth it to me considering that's more than some of my GPUs are putting out

 

Funny he only has a Wraith Prism but it's keeping it cool, only 75C while folding, amazing!

Can we possibly have a link at least or something to the current placing / stats for our team and the competition as a whole in the OP maybe?  I'm not sure if that's possible on our end or not seeing as its not our competition.  Just a request, so its not so hard to dig for the info.  I am a little bit curious to see how much I'm contributing, but I'm also curious to see how well we're doing vs the other teams too.

Looking like we MIGHT take over EVGA soon?
