Hello wonderful Minecraft Adventurers!

Here is a thread that we can use to showcase your builds. The idea is that the second post will contain permalinks to individual posts within the thread that users will put there build info and screenshots in. Then users will just edit that same post over time adding or changing their builds they want to show-off of feature. It's up to the users if they want to share coordinates to the build. Just be sure that you use GriefPrevention on your builds to prevent any malicious actors from messing with your builds.

Rockets can be used to hurt enemies, make pretty light shows, activate other things, or can be used while flying/gliding/falling with style when using an Elytra.

So rather than a rocket...sounds like like a powerful firework haha

Yeah, I have all of the important things. I managed to get some sheep after taking the screenshot. I do also have a mine there that's not very obvious. It's the small square fencing at the bottom left.

I guess I'll post this in this thread. @axipher gave me a backup of the server to see if I could convert it to bedrock for RTX.

I have to mess around with the resource packs a bit more. The mix I'm using now has too many blocks set with decorative textures instead of being what they are in game. That bright red glowing terracotta as an example.

Ohhh nice ! Good luck with the conversion, does that mean if all goes well then the server will support RTX moving forward ?

No. The server is running the Java edition of the game which doesn't support RTX and AFAIK never will. Not officially anyway, I do know RTX mods do exist for it. The Bedrock Edition (that is in the video) is the only version that does support RTX.

Oh right yeah I remember someone saying you cannot do it with Java. Will be interesting to see what @NavJack27 pulls off with Bedrock then.

That would be a no for now.

RTX requires playing on Bedrock edition, not Java edition. The current server runs with some nice plug-ins that are Java only and there is definitely people on both side of the fence for only wanting to paly on JAva or only on Bedrock, not many are in both camps yet until Bedrock and Java reach feature parity and likely plug-in support.

Bedrock seems to be a good go between though from what I have seen :)

Both have their pros and cons. Java supports a lot more mods, Bedrock has better features vanilla. I have actually used that RTX mod for Java that I mentioned in the other post. It doesn't look at good as the official support in Bedrock, but it's close enough.
