I might actually have to give this one a go as it looks nice from the visuals. Certainly amped up the specs for Ideal.

Oh wow the ideal specs are pretty surprising. Never seen 32gb in a recommended spec sheet for any piece of software or game before.

I know the dev team for this has been working hard to get near GTA levels of detail and depth to their environments. Going to make for one heck of a game when it gets released.

That's what caught my eye too. My gaming rig only has 16GB. Makes me wonder if It's time in general to upgrade to 32GB or if the 32GB "number" is going to be overstated. I can see a lot of the textures being put into VRAM.

I've got 32 GB to enable my bad habits to have a billion tabs open across six Firefox windows, and also to not restart my computer for a month to just fold. My restart yesterday was 29 days since my last one and I was up to 24 GB of RAM usage with no games running. It was pretty bad.

Just wait until you read about some of the linux installs on rackmount servers. We have an HP Dl380 G6 at work that hasn't been rebooted or lost power for close to a decade now, no joke. Though that's an exception as it's one of those goofy one off things where it shouldn't still be working but is. And the big boss man keeps putting off buying new hardware for us to replace it..

Yeah I've heard about that with Linux installs and some old Windows server OS installs too. I think my 24/7 Linux folding rig has been going steady for about 90 days now. Usually it doesn't get too bad for me on this PC but for some reason or another my computer seemed like it was trying to murder itself yesterday.
