Awesome that you've joined EHW! I just downloaded 1.7.1 and playing with/comparing timings from previous version. Updated interface is great.

Not sure if you can answer, but I did have a question about 4 DIMMS. Regardless of import/manual, and other DRAM PCB revisions, I see Gear Down mode is always disabled now when calculating FAST at 3600 or 3733. (3733 had it enabled in 1.7.0)

Particularly: ZEN 2, Samsung B-die, 3600 or 3733, DIMM Modules (4), X570, Calculate FAST

Comparing to your 1.7.0 calculator, 3733 Frequency had it Enabled with 99% of the same timings. Any idea if 1.7.1 having it as Disabled is an oversight?

I was under the impression it was almost impossible to run Gear Down mode Disabled above 3600 at cas 14 with 4 sticks.

Edit: When I import XMP, I do get the CAS 14 timings with a Memory Chip Quality 100%. I have the G.Skill 3600 Cas 15 chips.

Edit: Never mind. I didnt notice i was using 2 memory rank options.

Hey just tested 1.7.1 with Hynix DJR all fine and great however Ive found that the RZQ settings seem to be wrong as they just dont let the pc post without resetting bios @1usmus

Id say its RTT_WR as it wasnt off before and this simply doesnt work on my system at least

They were fine on 1.7.0. However all the other settings were fine. I have also tweaked my settings further to from 64GB 16x4 3600mhz 16-19-19-39 to 3800mhz 16-19-19-32. Please see screen attached.

Folding@Home Staff - Team Lead

Yuri,

The new version looks cool but has some bugs. I have Ryzen 5 1600 (12nm Pinnacle Ridge) and 4x Hynix DJR single rank. The calculations are drastically different from 1.70, which is ok. I run tighter anyways (all red lol). But clicking around in the new version sometimes it won't compare timings or it just starts hitting me with the error message. Voltages are blank in the new version. I'd like to donate some money to your project because I think this is a very worthy cause. Do you have a Patreon or something?

Hey 1usmus, can we get A0 for Micron E-Die please?

Yes, this is implemented in 1.7.3

Issues are still present in version 1.7.3:

I don't see a problem with RTT.

I also see a problem with reading the timings because of the running RGB. It happens a lot.

System doesn't boot with the new suggested RTT configs. They are very different compared to version 1.7.0. If I let RTT on AUTO in the bios I get similar values as provided in 1.7.0

You dont need to display the current timings to make break. Just press on Reset as first step before doing anything else in Ryzen DRAM Calculator.

Hi I am running into an issue where it appears that my particular RAM isn't supported by the Calc yet. What should I submit to get them supported in upcoming versions?

I would imagine getting a readout of your RAM Specs via Thaiphoon Burner would help as this will give @1usmus detailed information about your RAM so he can look it over. You can post a screenshot of the specs here or you can write a comment on his twitter, you can find a link to his twitter on the "About" tab on the DRAM Calculator.
