Intel is set to unveil its new Arc Battlemage series of graphics processing units (GPUs) on December 3, according to industry insiders reported by Videocardz. The launch will feature two models: the Arc B580 and the Arc B570, which are scheduled to be available for purchase starting December 12, 2024. Additionally, Intel plans to offer a limited edition version of the Arc B580. As the successor to Intel's Alchemist series, the Arc Battlemage line represents a significant advancement in the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the discrete GPU market. The Arc B580 model is equipped with 20 Xe2 cores and 12GB of video random access memory (VRAM), built on the new Battlemage BGM-G21 GPU architecture.

Wouldn't mind getting my hand on one to play with, but also interested in the higher end models.

Didn't the higher end models get cancelled?

I could see myself ending up with a B580 LE the exact same way I ended up with my A770 LE... Walking into Microcenter for something else and noticing that they have them in stock even though the website says they don't. ðŸ˜‚
