don't you have to be an EVGA "Elite" member to even have a chance? 

 

probably should have looked into it before now, I've just assumed that was the case.

I'm an Elite member and I never get a notification despite being on all of the waiting lists.

 

But...now I figured out how to inject AMD FSR into pretty much any game so I don't think I need a GPU upgrade now

NerdSpeak / @TuMadreATR (aka JudixJarf) is to thank for my notification on multiple Elite Member queue times, but there's a few threads on the EVGA Forum that update when new product queues will be created for Elite Members 24 hours before going live to everyone else. It took 8 months to get the 3090 notify.

That fan is too expensive to use. Maybe you should get a cheap fan to replace it with when you need to use it.

Perhaps, but It does help tell a story about something that once was and will likely never be again.

 

For instance, see that GE plaque behind it in the image? That came out of an engine room of one of the many liberty ships built and used during WWII. G.Skill 16GB DDR4-3200 

Samsung 980 500GB SSD

Now we only need to find a decent GPU...
