Elusive cybersecurity pioneer John McAfee was arrested in Spain for tax evasion in the U.S., the Justice Department in Washington said.

McAfee is accused of failing to file U.S. tax returns from 2014 to 2018 and hiding assets including real estate, a vehicle and a yacht in the name of others, prosecutors said. An indictment returned in June was unsealed on Tuesday after he was taken into custody. He’s being held pending extradition, the Justice Department said.

This guy is so crazy, surprised he didn't get caught up sooner. There's a documentary about him (netflix I think) and it's just over the top. Apparently the dude liked to be pooped on.

I am not sure of his background and if he is still the CEO of McAfee AV but if he is and he is making money hand over fist (compared to us normies lol) then I never get why these guys do not just pay there taxes to avoid issues. I know the old adage applies however, the richer you get the tighter you get, but that fortunately does not apply to all.

First Al Capone and now John McAfee. If there's one thing the US government will always catch you on, it's tax evasion (unless you are a politician or something).
