The 2020 F1 season has proven to be absolutely ridiculous, and we've only had one race.

Highlights will get you pretty far, those videos are quite good. Also fair since last race was imo really boring other than the first two and last two laps, weakest one of the season so far.

There's just a lot going on outside of the racing as well, between driver swaps, the legality of Ferrari's 2019 PU and the 2020 RP car, new tracks for this year's calendar, and so on.

There are, but I've given up on watching the full races because I already know what's going to happen and that's most of the fun. I've changed my Twitter location to Indianapolis to avoid the spoilers, it worked pretty well last season, but not anymore. I'm getting a bunch of people showing up in my feed live tweeting the race. Watching the races live isn't possible either.

Indeed, it seems nearly impossible to avoid spoilers these days; you pretty much just need to never look at any social media which means no looking at your phone because of notifications and news popups. Fortunately I've been able to watch all but two or three races live for the past few years. Before then, F1 didn't really have as much of an internet presence so I could watch it later in the day and usually avoid spoilers.

Indeed, finishing in the points was impressive with no practice. (Granted, the rest of the field had only one practice session, but still.)

Supposedly he's being considered for the second RB seat next year but I'm skeptical. I'd love to see it though.

I want him at Red Bull as well.
Truth be told, poor guy had to drive Stroll's car and compared to the others he did not sleep at all before in order to acclimate himself with the steering wheel. He was so focused he barely said a word.

Nascar championship finale from last weekend:

  Reveal hidden contents

Also very much looking forward to F1 at Turkey this weekend. We've had some fun news in the past week:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/54879815

  Quote

The removal of Vietnam, which at the time was the first new event introduced by F1's new owners Liberty Media, has been triggered by the arrest on corruption charges of a key official responsible for the race in Hanoi.

Big whoops on that one.

And here's the proposed 2021 calendar with that in mind:

We've gotten some new folks on the forum in recent weeks, may as well give 'er the old bump.

Anyone been watching out for the F1 livery reveals? Only Ferrari left, but I think we all know what it's gonna look like.

Nascar has been pretty good so far this season, including the Busch Clash. Don't have really high expectations for today's race, but you never know.

I follow most of the F1 teams on IG, so I did see a few of the reveals already. I kinda like watching the highlights and short clips but I only watch a race or 2 each season. Same goes for Nascar and many other types of racing, I follow them on IG but rarely watch a race.
I'm more interested in Formula D and some offroad racing, more action :classic_biggrin:

I was able to catch the first 2 rounds of the WRC.  Its been very limited coverage the last few years in the US, so it was nice to see those again, especially the Arctic rally which is always my favorite.  Watching Oliver Solberg driving his first WRC stages was really fun, since I grew up cheering for his father and the Subaru team.

Looking forward to the F1 season as well.

I always end up watching FD replays/highlights every now and again, really cool to watch and I absolutely love the cars. Such a unique series because of how much design freedom they have.

Where do you watch WRC? I'd definitely watch more if I had a reliable place to follow it (and the time); also in the US for reference.

For someone living around 7 time zones away it is hard to watch it live, sometimes still watching at 5am :classic_laugh:
But I've been watching the livestreams for 12+ years, and gladly those streams improved a lot over the years.
It's really unique how much freedom they have, so much diversity and ingenuity between all of them! I also like to watch as much of the build series from the FD teams on YouTube as possible.

I found the highlights at redbull.com  They still have Monte and Finland available to watch but I dont know how long they keep them up.  Only 30min of coverage for each day, but better than nothing.  I love WRC but im not paying over $100/yr to get the official livestream at wrc.com

Absolutely, the Papadakis Racing YT channel is absolutely fantastic for that sort of stuff. Fairly in-depth but very approachable technical stuff in his videos. Great production quality as well.
