No problem at all. Funny thing is, I found this yesterday while talking to @BWG about all the needless updates a few times a week. The only option windows has is to pause it for 7 days, so I'm giving this a try too, so I had that same problem a few times too. Please let me know if it doesn't work and windows finds a way to update again without permission, I don't want that to happen if I'm away for work for days or weeks..

Sorry to hear that.. If you want to avoid that problem you might want to try the following: Fire up the Run command ( Win + R ). Type in “services. msc” and hit Enter. Select the Windows Update service from the Services list. Click on the “General” tab and change the “Startup Type” to “Disabled”. Restart your machine.

Yeah, because of this article and the GN video @ENTERPRISE @schuck6566 Same, they really tried to do a good test with enough test samples. It's sad that they care so little about the consumers, problems like this can cause some significant damage..

At least they sell this one with an EVGA PSU instead of a Gigabyte PSU But you have more FTW3 cards, so you should do it..

I agree with this, though I don't know how we could improve the system. The handicap is a good thing, but it doesn't even out the cards. Instead it's a game of finding the card with the worst PPD compared to what it can actually do, and that's not what I'm able/willing to do. The hardware I fold on needs to be efficient power to PPD wise(or Units Per Day), so I'm not switching to anything old. 56 samples on a 7850 vs 117547 on a 2080Ti, just saying
