  1. Copy the link and paste it in a new window. Remove the "&type=score" and you have a link for your points. Just like this one, but add your user number: https://apps.foldingathome.org/awards?user=
  2. Are you sure you don't want to fold on a single card? Even a few hours is better than nothing I hope we will pick up a few good units, otherwise it'll be hard to beat the other FaT total. An easy win is never that much fun, I had the most fun with all the FaT's battling with @jpmboy, @Avacado and the last one with you. (and maybe some others I forgot to mention) Trash talking and bluffing that I had more hardware optional where I was just overclocking and cooling the .... out of everything It is great to have a few of the old guys back, and new ones to share the forums with. I was away for a few years but I do have some regrets leaving around 2011. It seems like you guys had a great time after that with folding@home
  3. I'm pretty sure E had this competition mixed with the Team Folding competition. I'm switching my hardware to 239902, though I'm waiting for everything to cool down a little. It's 86°F in the living room, I have no idea how hot it is in the office but I'm slowly melting
  4. The heat is not too bad over here, but with over 2kwh in one room it'll heat up pretty fast. So for now I can only fold full power with the windows open, which I'm only doing if I'm at home and awake. I can't wait to see that system online, would really help our way up the ranks but I do understand that the extra heat dump into the house is not really wanted at this time of the year.
  5. Just so you guys know what you are up against... And no, that's not me. I'm here enjoying my personal Sirocco @BWG @firedfly
  6. That Miata looks sweet! Nice A4 Joe, I bet that's a comfortable ride.
  7. My thoughts are with all her brothers and sisters in those systems. Suffering a loss like this, it must be hard to see your sister go up in flames...
  8. Nice project, I hope this one will work well! And about that thermal paste, that's enough to cool every single card and CPU I have if you spread that out...
  9. A custom wire loom would look good on yours too @BWG Really costly.. The Corsair Premium sleeved cables are €26 for a pair over here, and I need at least 5 pairs (not even in stock).. And 65cm might not be enough. I don't mind pulling the pins, and I have a lot of left over cable sleeves from my casemodding days. So I might try to make my own PCIe harness. The only problem is that I like to switch cards around, and having 3x8 at each of the 6 locations might be a bit too much.
  10. Those cables need some work indeed! But it looks good to see a card in (almost)every slot. I'm thinking about getting a lot of sleeved single PCIe cables instead of those double cables where you need to hide that little part.. And they are way more flexible so better to route, bundle and hide if needed. Downside is the cost of all those cables...
  11. Almost guilty, I asked BWG about it before bugging z.
  12. I know you like messing with him, but that post made us feel pretty bad which might not have been your intentions but that's sometimes the problem on the internet. My reply was never meant to hurt your feelings, on the contrary, I was trying to understand why you posted that and if there is something going on. (hence the "friendly voice") And you are right that it's a little concerning how much hardware BWG has, I made sure he knows what I think of what he's doing and that I am going to steal his HydroCopper card
  13. Please read this in a friendly voice: First of all, please speak for yourself. I do enjoy looking at those numbers, which you might know, and maybe others too. I understand that posts like that may sound like bragging, but he can be proud of what he's building and I'm proud for him. Same as I really enjoyed your Tesla adventure! (or everyone's builds for that matter) For me Folding at home always has two sides, the competition and the research. That's why I have a lot of hardware too, and if I could there would be a few more cards just like he has. Hopefully everything is well, cause I really don't know you like this. And if @BWG wants to win he's got 2.5 billion points to go
  14. Nice work getting all of that to fit! I am using a Fractal Design 7XL and I still think it's not big enough (looking for a 1000D) and you manage to fit all that into that shoe box
  15. More jealous.. lol I've once driven the roadster, really not my type of car but it was kinda funny. I own a Grand Vitara which is big enough to fit me and 4 friends ranging from 6'2" to 6'6" and 165-230lbs and my company car is a VW Transporter T6, lots of space for me
  16. EK improves nickel plating to solve corrosion issues | bit-tech.net BIT-TECH.NET Following corrosion issues with some of its waterblocks, EK has improved its nickel-plating process. Let's hope it's true, we need more quality parts and options to cool our cards. Waiting on a heatkiller block for 8 months now... Haha, I had the same issue.. And my head too, only drivable with the top down at 6'2".
  17. I like that idea I can see Avacado, BWG, Joe, yours and my own. Cerberus' doesn't work.
  18. And give it a different name.. I don't really hate the looks though, and I've actually seen a few driving around in the Netherlands already. That sucks, sorry to hear another bad EK experience... I hope they'll solve it asap! I am still looking for a block for my FTW3, and what I like about the EK blocks is the active backplate which connects to the main block. Watercool.de still has no Heatkiller block for sale for the FTW3, that's my first choice though they don't have an active backplate..
  19. Yes the button was there. I only checked if it worked and removed the link afterwards. I don't think I'll need it, but at least I know how/that it works.
  20. It's hard to find a work unit today, the ETF card has been down most of the time. I hope the wu shortage and server problems over at F@H will be solved soon..
  21. "This URL is not in our allowed URLs list" https://paypal.me/ my name, any idea?
