  1. Nice work getting all of that to fit! I am using a Fractal Design 7XL and I still think it's not big enough (looking for a 1000D) and you manage to fit all that into that shoe box
  2. More jealous.. lol I've once driven the roadster, really not my type of car but it was kinda funny. I own a Grand Vitara which is big enough to fit me and 4 friends ranging from 6'2" to 6'6" and 165-230lbs and my company car is a VW Transporter T6, lots of space for me
  3. EK improves nickel plating to solve corrosion issues | bit-tech.net BIT-TECH.NET Following corrosion issues with some of its waterblocks, EK has improved its nickel-plating process. Let's hope it's true, we need more quality parts and options to cool our cards. Waiting on a heatkiller block for 8 months now... Haha, I had the same issue.. And my head too, only drivable with the top down at 6'2".
  4. I like that idea I can see Avacado, BWG, Joe, yours and my own. Cerberus' doesn't work.
  5. And give it a different name.. I don't really hate the looks though, and I've actually seen a few driving around in the Netherlands already. That sucks, sorry to hear another bad EK experience... I hope they'll solve it asap! I am still looking for a block for my FTW3, and what I like about the EK blocks is the active backplate which connects to the main block. Watercool.de still has no Heatkiller block for sale for the FTW3, that's my first choice though they don't have an active backplate..
  6. Yes the button was there. I only checked if it worked and removed the link afterwards. I don't think I'll need it, but at least I know how/that it works.
  7. It's hard to find a work unit today, the ETF card has been down most of the time. I hope the wu shortage and server problems over at F@H will be solved soon..
  8. "This URL is not in our allowed URLs list" https://paypal.me/ my name, any idea?
  9. That's a lot better Thanks, I use all the power plugs on the board (24+8+8+6) too. The risers are not powered, but the cables are not hot or warmer than any other part of the system (if I can find black 30cm powered ones I will buy them for sure). It's not easy to find any specific information about the combined powerdraw through the slots, I was hoping the manual would provide that information. 210W was no problem through the slot, that was the max yesterday
  10. You are closer to that number than I am... And rep+ to the person(s) setting that all up, must have been a lot of work!
  11. I figured putting a bounty on your head would be better for the total production during the FaT. And I'm hoping @firedfly will rent cloud GPU's for $99 so he can hang that last dollar on the wall
  12. Haha, you have no idea... The poor hardware needs to survive to fight another day! But I will run max effort anyways, all I know is I can't beat you
  13. I love tech like this, looks great @BWG! What's that red thing mid right? Pwr button? @tictoc you scare me with stories like that.. Currently looking for the max combined PCIe powerdraw on my x299 sage and black 30cm PCIe 3.0 x16 powered riser cables... And I already know the EVGA 3090's are really power hungry on the PCIe side, drawing much more than the common maximum of 75W through the slot. (I've seen up to 88W already)
  14. I need someone to really step up his game and overtake him again before I can say I passed someone.. Feels kinda lonely up there And Avacado is right, my mom is waiting for her 3090 nvlink bridge to arrive so she can enjoy both her new cards
  15. In with the 2080Ti My 3 cats want to join too, ordering 2 960's for them in a moment and looking for a good AMD card
  16. Progress is looking good! Make sure to clean the PSU, use compressed air or something to get the metal dust out. You don't want to end up burning down your hard work because of saving a few minutes. And good luck with the pain, I know how it feels..
  17. In Bastiaan_NL $50 $100 and a mention in my sig for a month for the person that can beat @BWG (highest wins the prize) And it can't be hertz' account or someone receiving help from @BWG If 2 or more folders combine their forces the prize will be split evenly between them.
  18. It's name shall not be spoken out loud.. All you get is the first letter A..
  19. Thanks, at least one place where my drinking problem doesn't limit my forum usage. Wait, I don't even have that photo myself... But I do like that mom figure above
  20. Not sure if crazy, addicted or both At this rate we'll beat ocn by ppd in no time..
  21. What a great view! Easy to dream away looking at the ships and the sunset That's a tight little box, I totally understand that you are having a hard time figuring out the water cooling/tubing options. Good luck!
  22. Nice card Mistio! You can always set the power limit to something like 75% and see how it folds with that. But watercooling is the way to go with a card like that if it's not on an open air bench (10°C cooler than in my case). And a little update, I have sold the 1660ti and maybe the 1650 super too. There is a 3060 folding at +250 core in the workstation now, and a 3070ti ftw3 in the main system at +120ish on air. Work units are not the best (worst) I've seen in a long time, so not much to say about PPD right now.
