  1. Lots of good music guys, I've been listening to everything above this afternoon while doing some drawings.
  2. That's a nice idea, I'm interested in what that backplate will look like once it's finished! And about that nun, I prefer the friendly looking types
  3. I still have room for around 40 bottles, should be enough for a week or 2 The steel strapping is an option, but I have access to aluminium diamond plates. If I sandblast that to lose the shine it should look about the same as the profiles, and I can make a mounting plate for other hardware too like the little fan hub, the power button and the add2psu.
  4. The progress on this build is a bit slow, because it has been running without any problem for some time. As I'm using the system I get an idea of what I need to change or improve. So first of all, I've lowered the lower level 4cm to create a bit more room. The extensions are long enough for every slot on the upper level, so why not? I am running out of profiles and hardware, though I ordered a lot more than I needed for the initial build. So I guess I'll have to order more.. As I'm slowly progressing with this build I realized that it's pretty heavy to lift the system (doh..), so a set of caster wheels might not be a bad idea. I've not been able to find the perfect PSU, so for now I'm still using the pair of 850w PSU's. I want to mount them in a tray below the lower level, hanging like this: For that I'll have to make a bracket that'll fit 2 PSU's side by side, with a few holes to secure them with screws. Something like a cable tray wouldn't be a bad idea either if I want to make it look somewhat decent. The AIO radiator will need a bracket too, it is hanging on one of the profiles right now. It's a perfect fit between the frame, almost like it was on purpose One of the last purchases was 3 extra CoolerMaster PCIe extension cables. There are currently 4 GPU's in the system, and with the Tesla M40 that'll soon be 5. Once I have a decent PSU and the GPU shortage is over I would like to change at least the 1650 super for something 30xx and maybe the 1660ti too. At least I have all the extensions I need for that, and they are all the same. And since I have enough extensions I upgraded the 1650 super to the penthouse which will improve the airflow over the motherboard and it'll look a bit more occupied on the upper level of the system. That's it for now. More idea's in my head, and a lot to do to make that happen.
  5. I was happy my parents were at home when the 3090's came. I use their adres for every delivery, cause I'm 'never' at home during the day. It wouldn't be nice if something like that would end up in the wrong hands, or any delivery for that matter... I could use a few things on that list too, writing it down as we speak For my home use I have a parkside digital caliper, it was around €20 and is pretty accurate!
  6. My 850M was finishing about 20 units a day, doubling it's PPD with just the max-packet-size = small flag.
  7. I've heard @tictoc mention something about flashing a bios, he was talking to @Avacado about that. My card is down until I have the 980ti cooler.
  8. Good to hear The Chrome Dark Mode will have to do, we'll survive.
  9. That is one thing I have against using older cards, they are less efficient as newer cards so it's a bit of a waste of energy. That's what I like so much about the 2080ti and the 3090's, pretty high PPD to Watt ratio. The M40 is not really efficient either, 200W for 1 million PPD compared to 350-400W for 6+ million PPD Is that block all copper? If so you should be able to clean most of that, though I'm not sure about the state of the o-ring..
  10. But you've never removed or installed that one, so it doesn't count.. Banned!
  11. Maybe it's best to reinstall F@H at this point and try again, I've never had this issue before. I do have TeamViewer if we need to take a look.
  12. max-packet-size = small? looking at the number of units...
  13. Ha, you mean this one? Banned for having a small engine
  14. Same, and it works pretty good too! Though there are some websites that I can't read because of this
  15. Wow, that looks bad But pretty darn cool you have blocks for them, would be cool if it works!
  16. I can't find the 7970 or the 8990 in the Lar database, and no info so far on the web either. Maybe they work but you'll have to find it out..
  17. Yeah, enough similarities! I like to listen to music like that, depending on my mood
  18. Ah great, so that means we can have a benchmark competition with M40's! @Avacado@ENTERPRISE, and you too @The Pook And yes, you really should do it to help us all with this part of our M40 investigation. Enterprise works on the stock cards, I try the air cooled route and Avacado works on the water cooling. Now we need someone who works on the software and drivers, to optimize the cards!
  19. I think it's better if the money goes to the public schools instead of her... Banned anyways.
  20. There is no difference between base credit and estimated credit, though you are finishing them in time. So like Avacado said you are missing the QRB, most likely because of missing a passkey or not enough units (10). Besides that you are also folding for Anonymous and team 0, might want to change that
  21. Paul and Chester... 2 persons I liked a lot!
  22. That's the whole idea, and another 1mil ppd doesn't hurt with Avacado breathing in my neck every competition But that's not the reason, just trying my luck with a product I've never used before.
