  1. I can only see one image showing as a link in my build log, but there are a lot more spread over different threads.
  2. Congrats on the 500M! I see something in my rear view mirror, though it's really far away..
  3. I could always run the rest of the GPU's for a few hours, but the 2 cards above are running most of the time. I also sold the 1660ti to a friend, he needed it to replace a 1050ti. (Extra free slot in the workstation for a bigger card)
  4. IN Bastiaan_NL (and excluded from the prize draw) It would be nice if you could beat me @BWG I hope the temps drop a bit before this one starts, cause otherwise I'll be in with the 2080ti and one 3090 only.
  5. I noticed it too when I checked your HFM stats, but totally forgot to mention it. Good thing you found it The 2080ti is doing good with the 13454 units, about 5.8mil ppd. One of them failed, but the logs are gone. I can see that it finished 100% , but it returned faulty and I received the base points (54.400).
  6. I can imagine that this creation takes up a lot of space, with all the hardware above and all the carts tables etc. So I do understand them a little Looking good so far ?
  7. Using one cable for two connectors is something I don't like to do, but the cables should be able to handle more amperage than the cards could pull (and both the above 850w PSU's have one 12V rail). Now if you like to be on the safe side it would be better to go with a 1000w PSU like @Avacado mentioned. The benefit is that you'll have at least one extra PCIe connector, so you don't have that problem and you have a bit of overhead if you happen to buy a 3080ti instead of a second 3070.
  8. That was from looking at the images from both the PSU's you linked, I assume those pictures are correct.
  9. Good to hear you are building a dedicated system. As far as power delivery goes both PSU's should do the job. The most important thing is the amount of PCIe connectors/cables on the PSU. How many power connectors are there on the card you bought? Let's say you go for an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 as the second card you'll need 3 cables for that one and I assume 2 for the 3070, which will be too much for both the PSU's you've shown. The Seasonic has 4 PCIe connectors and one EPS and the SuperNOVA has 4 PCIe and 2 EPS connectors (with a visual difference between the EPS and PCIe connectors). So if you use 2 GPU's with 2 power connectors each you should be fine. I personally like Corsair. I'm using 2 850w, a 1000w and a 1600w PSU and I'm very happy with them. Fully modular and they all use the same set of connectors on the PSU side, which makes it easy to swap out cables.
  10. Well, 2 minutes later it worked. Let's hope there is enough stock.. I had a bit of luck with the other cards, but it's not easy to buy something. Fingers crossed...
  11. I've been in the 3070ti queue window 5 times already, but every time it hangs after that and gives an error.. Been trying for an hour now
  12. If I could have gotten the 3080ti at the time I bought my 3090's (6 months ago) it would have been an easy choice to go with the 3080ti. But there was no 3080ti at that time, and I'm glad I bought these More than 2 billion points in 6 months on 2 cards alone
  13. Between 5.75m and 6.2m at 2050mhz, max load between 85% and 90%
  14. From a business standpoint I get this temptation, a little more write-off is not that bad. I'm glad though that you were able to buy them for a normal price. I'm glad I got my first 3090 right after launch at a local shop. Compared to what they go for in the States it was a bit more, but it's been the same forever. USD price is the same as EU, though the Dollar is cheaper than the Euro. And after a few weeks I saw the second 3090 for sale, for €50 less than the first so I didn't hesitate and bought it. And I'm glad I did, cause the price went up €500 and sometimes even more. What they are asking now over here is just crazy, and I'm not tempted to buy anything for that much extra over what I paid a few months ago. We don't have anything like that over here, no showroom or hardware store, just webshops. I would love to wander through the Microcenter and enjoy all the hardware I want one of them Tie-s!
  15. Thanks. Might need an OC.. The 13446 units are not really power hungry, so the temps might climb a little. Looks good though, and maybe even better after a new driver or 2! That's weird, maybe it has to do with the fact it's an XC3 and not an FTW3. And triple post...
  16. That looks great! What is the core clock at?
  17. Nice! Have fun with that card
  18. Congrats Which one did you get? [edit] Nvm, found it in the "post your last purchase"
  19. The Dutch webshops start at €2250 / $2730 for the cheapest 3080ti, they have lost their mind...
  20. Me likes shiny Will you need those shims to get enough pressure from the cooler on the IHS? Otherwise you could use longer springs to get more pressure, I even searched for the option of direct die cooling. But after watching someone rip a few parts from the chip I decided not to do that.. The weird thing with this chip is that the max temp under small fft's is 21°C over ambient, but as soon as I stop the workers it jumps 5°C up over the max temp. And now, an hour later I see a max temp of 31°C over ambient, one of those weird spikes. So in the end it didn't matter for the spikes, just the temp under load dropped a bit. Now I'm not scared at all about that max temp, its 30°C below the max but I hate to see it jump around like that. Sounds pretty epic if you could get a 9900k working on a z170, but that's not really something I would put my time into. I mean, it's really cool if you can get it to work but I don't really need it. 2 of the 3 systems only have a CPU to keep the GPU's working, and the 3950x is just because I could. Maybe I would have been better of with less cores and higher clocks, but bigger is better right?
  21. That looks great next to the cabinet! And pretty big, way bigger than I imagined it to be. Nice work @Avacado
  22. Ah, that makes more sense to me. I just checked the LARS database and both the p400 and the p620 stats were still under Windows. Let's hope it works, we'll soon find out.
  23. It must be nice to understand what you are doing. You could have written that in Chinese and it wouldn't have made a difference to me But great that you've got it working, let's hope it'll report the stats under Linux on the LARS database!
  24. Would be great to have a Westfalia camper, but I would need a big trailer for all the tools and parts limiting my allowed top speed by a lot
