  1. I wonder what UV will do to that color, I hope it'll be more pink And it needs more light for sure, I love the effect from that intake fan through the side window!
  2. @BWG told me, it was new to me too.
  3. Like this: That will use the passkey just for that single slot you selected, and the other slots will fold under the passkey that's under the identity tab.
  4. The 2080ti is online too. I think that would be my best bet for the TC as a 24/7 headless dedicated system
  5. It's an interesting "case" choice. I like the movable aspect and the ability to expand it in every direction (as there are no limits)! With 2 x45 rads and push/pull fans even a big case will look small. With a setup like that good airflow is required for 700W of hardware to maintain good temperatures.
  6. *knocks on wood* I can't remember the last time we've had a power outage, when it happens it's because of maintenance or someone hitting a line while digging.
  7. The Meshify S2 system is online again. Temps are good and it is quiet enough to return to the bedroom I think I sold the wrong board, this one has no RGB headers so I can't use both the blocks and the pump leds.
  8. A little makeover on the Meshify S2 system, so I had to redo everything. This is about the best I can do without hiding cables with this case. SSD and fancontroller are behind the brackets on the left, the only thing that's missing here are the cables for the front panel, they are in the middle empty bracket now.
  9. But it's real name starts with an A, so does that mean it's the α and Ω or the "a to the z"?
  10. Is there a story why you picked that one? Also, I love the radioactive section! I keep asking myself the same question every time I look at one of your pictures: "what do I like the most?". It's hard to answer, but I think I the knife switch is number 1. As I mentioned before, spending many hours in engine rooms I get to see a lot of switchboards and stuff like that. I should get something like that to turn on the light, will brighten up my day
  11. It might be me, but I hate to see anything over 60°C (I always set the max fan speed at 60°C). The core temp on the RX 5700XT Mech OC is fine, but the hot spot is over 90°C if it's running at 105% power limit, that is somewhere around 210W if I'm not mistaken. If I run it with a power limit of 85% the temps are way better and I don't need earplugs, but still too much for a "bedroom system". If you google the Mech OC you will find a lot of hate and complaints about the quality of that card, a shame I had to choose it but I'll have to live with it until I sell it. Even water cooled the temps are higher than I expected them to be, but around 50°C is not too bad. I don't remember what the memory temps were, and I never tried to mine on them which they seem to be good at (son of a tech runs 60? of them for eth). With F@H they were never high enough for me to remember the memory temps.
  12. Shipping from DE to NL is great, some orders show up in 48 hours or less after receiving the shipping confirmation! Sadly Caseking is also OOS, or better said in one of my favorite languages: "die Lieferzeit ist unbekannt". I'll keep an eye on them anyways, same as the Dutch webshops to see which one has stock first. There is no rush for now, once I find some time I'll have to fab up some brackets for the fans and radiator and figure out a more solid way to mount the monitor. After doing some modifications on the PCI-e mounting profile I lost a bit of strength in the monitor mount, for now I support it with an extra profile and some cable ties but that's not a good looking solution. I might have to weld an extra bracket or something.
  13. Those cards run pretty hot anyways, every bit of colder air is a bonus! I'd like to get my waterblock back on my 5700xt anyways, the fans are driving me crazy. One of the reasons I'm rebuilding the Meshify S2 system so I can install the 2080ti in it, use water cooling and lower fan speeds to keep the noise down. That system is in my bedroom, so being quiet is a bonus
  14. That is really cool, so much to look at and going on there! But I've got to agree with @Sir Beregond that it would be a bit too much for my "office". If you had to pick one thing you like the most on that wall, what would it be? If it works and doesn't overheat.. I do like spending a lot of time building something that looks good, but it does get out of control sometimes spending hours on something that doesn't improve temps or function. As long as the cables are not blocking any airflow and can't touch the fans it's not a big deal. I like what you did with those cables out the side, I used to have a system on a shelf above me and it was hard to reach the power button and usb ports so I did the same
  15. And I thought the 475W on my cards was a lot.. I do know that it's not a good idea to try an unlocked bios without water, might make the board a bit crispy At least you have enough PSU's to choose the right one for the build.
  16. You gave it a try, sucks that it's not even enough to test one card..
  17. A lot of cool hardware, would be a shame if it wouldn't be used for F@H It's looking good, subbed!
  18. Thanks, it'll get the black and white sleeved cables too and a few RGB ML140's. I think a dimmed red or orange/copper light will look good with the hardware. Looking back at the picture I totally understand the confusion, it was a bit hard to capture the real color on camera. The tubes are all red inside, and so is the reservoir and every fitting. Took me about 2 hours to clean the block with a toothbrush.
  19. Not sure what you guys think, but I love the way that 6900XT looks!
  20. Been there and done that a lot of times, works great
  21. I ordered the add2psu. There was one place selling it for €6,99, that's pretty cheap As for the PSU's, I couldn't find the Superflower for sale but I did find out that it's basically the same as the EVGA SuperNova. I can only find a few Silverstone and Be Quiet units available, so I'll use the dual 850's for now.
  22. The 5700xt will be down for a bit cause I sold everything it needs to be online and I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I was upgrading an old system for a coworker, and he was interested in some of the hardware I have. At some point we decided to just build a new system using hardware from me besides cleaning, rebuilding and upgrading his old system. I've never seen someone so stoked about a fast booting system, coming down from a few minutes to less than 10 seconds for the login screen to show up. The 2080ti system is offline too, rebuilding and cleaning everything for better cooling and less noise. EHW is still going strong in the team rankings, 222 and climbing ?
  23. Thanks for the kind words! I do have a lot of extra stuff, most of it is fans and water cooling hardware. But it's always the same thing when I'm building a system, something is missing and I have to order more 3 black Noctua NF-A20 fans showed up a few days ago. I haven't had time to look at ways to mount them, work has taken most of my time (and building 2 systems for a coworker, plus selling him one of my systems and some hardware). I'm in need of a big PSU, would love to own an EVGA 1600W T2 but that doesn't seem to be easy right now... The system was online with 4 cards, of which 3 were using risers. 820W with 3 GPU's on an 850W PSU did work, but it did not make me feel comfortable for some reason.. At least I'm happy that it works, though I hate the dual PSU mess and inconvenience.
  24. Selling it would make sense, with the new 5950x and the Crosshair 8 Dark Hero the "old" 3950x will be neglected in no time.. I mean, I had trouble installing my brothers 5950x in his own system instead of mine....
