Thanks for the reply! I have the client at Full, also set the priority in task manager "above normal". For any app that I could find the setting I have it turned off, but for the ones I can't find the setting it's a pain in the behinds..

Hey guys, there is an issue I've got with several apps in combination with F@H. When the folding at home client is running and I start playing music on Spotify, open Steam to do whatever I need to do or have Corsair iCue running in the background I see the power consumption from the GPU drop drastically, which automatically increase the TPF and drops the PPD. After looking into it I found out that it was caused by GPU acceleration which Spotify, Steam and iCue use (and many other apps). For Spotify it was easy, you can simply uncheck the box and problem solved. But for iCue and Steam I've not been able to fix it. Does anyone know if there is a fix, that I can force F@H to use the card as much as it wants? There must be something that tells F@H to slow down so the other software can use the GPU.. ​​​​ Here is a little example. First block is idle Second block is folding with nothing else running Third block is steam and folding Fourth block is back to folding.

Sounds interesting! You might need a little bit of luck with those cards, but if you buy a late-model card it can't be that bad.

Oh man, I love that case! It was my third case. First a CM centurion 532, after that a CM 690 first gen(still have it somewhere), and the third was this one. I had many other cases after that, but this one never left! The only case I regret selling was the CM ATCS 840, that thing was a giant! (all of the above had custom watercooling)

I had the 13877 today, took about 2 hours. According to the project description it is the "same" type. Not sure about the points though, I wasn't at home ?

Today was allright on my end, did a few gpu units too and the cpu has almost no downtime. It's not 100% yet though ?

Thanks for the help! And yeah, the lack of WU's bums me out too... I remember complaining about low ppd units, but no units at all is even worse Let's just hope they'll get it sorted and we can all fold at full power again! ?

Yeah, It's nice to see what everyone's doing @Supercrumpet It would be nice to see it merged in some way. Sadly EOC can't display it: "Q: I have points under other user names or teams, can I merge my points? A: Sorry, no. Stanford does not have a system in place at this time to do so, but if they did my stats would adjust accordingly." @ENTERPRISE Is that the workunits submitted during this "fight-thread"?
