  1. 700000:91x130=1000000 lol, that is perfect
  2. I was pretty happy with the 1mil it did before, but with the new cuda support it's really doing a great job! It's at about 100mhz core overclock, depending on the temps. I decided to lower the fan speed to keep it a bit more quiet. Have fun with overhauling the systems, I always love the proces of building/rebuilding a pc Sounds about where I expected a non ti to be. What is the power draw at those units for the 1660? On the p13426 the 1660ti is at 2100mhz core with 130w 1mil ppd, running a bit colder so clocking a bit higher.
  3. I noticed a good amount of points on your account! Good to have a folding heater Not sure if I mentioned it already, but the 1660ti is at 1.5 million points with the 1740x units! 145w on 2070mhz core. I love that card
  4. It will be hard not to run the 2080s 24/7 with ppd like that! That's more than a 2080ti on a normal unit.. My 5700xt's are about the same. 1.3mil on a 17402 unit with no oc, under water and with max power limit.
  5. That was something I was afraid of, but with the weight of a few fingers on it the balance point is still somewhere in the middle of the mouse. No noticeable resistance from the added weight, to be honest it feels better! Even if I'm trying to tip it over to the right by pressing on the outer right edge of the support I need to press pretty hard to make it tip over. There is about 60 grams (if the scale is correct) on right of the right outer slide pad and about 100 grams on the left, placing the balance point only a little off center from the original mouse. I've been using it for a few weeks this way, doing lots of browsing and a good few hours of Warzone without wanting to remove the support.
  6. A few months ago I decided to replace my Logitech G500s with a Corsair M65 RGB Elite on the main system, so the G500s could be used on any of the other systems if needed. I've been using the M65 for many hours, but after some time I noticed that there was not enough support for my ring finger and the little finger is always dragging over my mousepad. This is not a big deal for a short period of time, but gaming a few hours causes some numbness in my hand from trying to hold my fingers up. On the G500s is a little edge next to the right mouse button, big enough for the ring finger automatically holding the little finger up a bit. On the M65 the whole top is a button, so no place to rest a finger other than pushing it to the side of the cover. To fix this and enjoy the mouse even more I decided to get some 2 component plastic and add a support to the right side of the mouse. First I had to take the whole mouse apart to get to the clips holding the right plastic cover in place, forgot to take pictures at that time, and removed it. I drilled 2 holes for screws in the cover, so the screws could support the weight of 2 fingers and the big chunk of plastic that I was going to add. After that I molded the plastic to the cover and gave it a shape I thought would be good to rest my fingers on. To "bake" the 2 comp plastic I placed the support on a GPU running Folding @ Home, nice and warm After installing the modded support and giving it a quick test I was very happy with the result. It doesn't look perfect, but it's impossible to see that with my hand on the mouse. The added weight makes it feel much better in my hand, and no more numb fingers! According to Corsair it weighs 97 grams in its original state (not sure if that's with the little weight inserts), and after the mod my scale said 159 grams. The added width is 15mm in the middle and 20mm in the front and rear. Here are some pictures:
  7. Same for me, the main system is also used for gaming. This week was kinda busy though, so that's good for folding Are you using the beta flag?
  8. That's what i mean, welcome back to folding 1 mil for a 5700 sounds about right, depending on the unit. My 5700xt's are between 1.1 and 1.4 mil for the available units at the moment. That sounds great! I was expecting it to be at least 2.5 mil some time ago before hearing about the insane decrease in tpf with the new cuda support. 3.5 and over is even better I've seen the 1660ti doing 1.5 mil the past few days with the new units. With the old units it was between 880k and 960k most of the time, so that's an insane increase! What hardware are you using for that? The temps have dropped here too. Last night I moved one of the mobile folding rigs to my bedroom for some extra heat I think I'll have to order an other wifi card for the third rig to make it mobile too, so I have another mobile heater!
  9. Nice! I should be able to get a 2080s too in a few days, waiting for the owner to come home and sell it to me What kinda ppd do you see with the current units? Like the updated 1343x units, I've seen almost 3 mil on a 1080ti. I bet the 2080s would be close to 4 mil. Good to have you back!
  10. .... after all the excitement, that must have been a huge bummer...
  11. That is some hot memory Although I love the design, that is another reason not to go with it.
  12. That's right, if he starts folding on a unit it'll show the project and the time per frame in the log. That'll tell us enough I'm also interested in Valhalla, cause I already pre-ordered it
  13. I understand that Could you ask them to report the PRCG too if they are willing to do it?
  14. I just set fire to a virtual candle, hope it helps
  15. I don't have any problem maxing out the games I play, so I know with the 3090 it would run even higher fps. The game I am interested in is not out yet, so that won't work. You know the one thing I would love to know though, what it'll do with F@H ?
  16. Subbed Looks like that rack is pretty decent. Quality welds and all, I like it! Would be nice to put my folding rigs in there and use it as a mobile heating solution I'm using some sort of dustfilter material I had to cut to size on one of my systems. It is a restriction but it does work. [edit] "Premium Ultra Thin 0.17mm PVC Case/Fan Mesh Dust Filter"
  17. That is a lot of interesting hardware in that tower! Good luck with all the challenges, but you'll be fine looking at your background Thanks for sharing the build log, and I can't wait for the next update!
  18. Mikiiiiiiii Welcome to EHW!
  19. Exactly what I'll be doing. 1.1KW might be a bit too much for a medium sized room though ?
  20. No problem at all, you (and a few others) have kept the team active in a time where I was away I really enjoyed being able to be on #1 at OCN for some time, even though many of those guys have clients at idle between the FaT's. So for the time being I left my clients running for them, enjoying being on top for once ? But now we are back online here, I'll keep at least a few clients folding for 239902 besides the FaT comp every month.
  21. The F@H team is working hard to fix everything they encounter. We've had a few waves of different units already, good and bad. They have been setting up new servers, and improved several servers to meet the demand. And yes, the hype has died a bit. So the 24/7 folders can take over ? Early this evening I decided to take down a few clients, running 4 of them is acceptable temperature wise. I tried to play some CoD Warzone, but I was literally dripping on the floor ? Also, I'm kinda looking around to get a used 2080 super or 2070 super for one of the systems. That one is in the living room, and with the 30xx cards coming I hope to get one for around 300 euro's or even less. Would be a nice extra heater for the living room ?
