  1. I was hoping for "good" weather for this and (first is C, second is F) Normally this time of year, it's a good 10-15c hotter. Pair that with my GPU throwing out 50c air and a well insulated house with no AC and it makes it impossible. Normally when I work my computer this hard in that kind of temperature, the inside of my house gets up to 105-115F with 60-70% humidity. It's literally deadly.
  2. Firefox, I think it's entirely on my end. I get this pretty often on other websites as well.
  3. Nyck de Vries F1 contract has been killed to death. He's being replaced by Daniel Ricciardo for the next F1 race in Hungary on the 23rd. Daniel Ricciardo's Hungary Feeling).mp4
  4. Go for the normal version of the game imo. The planes that come up the upgrades aren't worth it. Not now with the much better third party content that's available. Here's the planes you get: For third party content, if you want airliners go for the Fenix A320, PMDG 737 (I recommend the 800 over the others), Just Flight BAe 146, Fly The Maddog X as far as paid for content goes. For free content, the FlyByWire A320, Headwind A330-900, Sukhoi Superjet 100 (available in the Headwind installer). For GA planes, anything from Black Square from Carenado are good choices. These are pretty much all I know about GA planes because I don't really use GA planes all that much. For controllers, I just use an Xbone controller. I've not really had any issues with it. I've not used actual flight controls, so I can't recommend/not recommend any specific ones.
  5. In, andrews2547 (I set a reminder on my phone this time, unlike the last 2 times and I forgot about it until after the foldathon ended )
  6. I hope not, their GPUs were some of the best on the market, as are their PSUs. It's already a shame they've pulled out of the GPU market. It wouldn't be good if they pulled out of PC hardware entirely.
  7. Regarding the F1 race in Austria today:
  8. This is a great idea, but couldn't they have changed the design a bit? It's got a 2009 laptop aesthetic going on.
  9. Not sure why they used F1 22 for benchmarking, that game is awful for this kind of thing. Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably the best game on the market right now for benchmarking. But overall, it's pretty much where I expected it to be in terms of performance.
  10. Yeah, it's always been a Sony thing, but if true, it's a bit rich that Sony are are involved in the complaints about this.
  11. FTC: Xbox Making Starfield and Redfall Exclusive 'Powerful Evidence' Against Activision-Blizzard Merger - IGN WWW.IGN.COM The United States Federal Trade Commission has said that Microsoft's actions following its acquisition of ZeniMax and Bethesda is "powerful... Sony is allegedly part of the complaint that lead to this. I look forward to playing Gran Turismo 7 on Microsofts platforms.
  12. That's a good channel. I want to know how they're able to get in the cockpit for these videos.
  13. Texas. New Vegas is a very good game. It's like Skyrim with guns.
  14. What happened to the laptop? MSI and Asrock do seem like good brands, so it's worth checking them out as well.
  15. $11,900. A little out of my budget, so I think I'll have to pass on this one. I also thought AMD pulled out of the server market?
  16. Explainer: Reddit protest: Why are thousands of subreddits going dark? WWW.REUTERS.COM Thousands of popular Reddit communities dedicated to topics ranging from Apple Inc to gaming and music locked out their users on Monday in protest against the company's plan to charge for access to its data. Reddit are also claiming it's because of Ai or something. I really doubt it. They're just being greedy. Imgur, which started off as a third party website to host images for Reddit, has a similar sized userbase and they don't charge anywhere near as much, nor are they going to. And what's even worse is I don't think this protest is going to do anything, not if it's only 2 days long. It should go on indefinitely until the higher ups at Reddit go back on what they're going to do. That's the only way there's going to be any real change. The 2 day blackout is just temper tantrum that isn't really going to do anything. If the protest goes on indefinitely, Reddit are going to lose an incredible amount of users, because without subreddits, Reddit is nothing. And given that a majority of the subreddits that went private are the huge ones, this could have potentially made a difference.
  17. Update: Microsoft apologized for their poor communication when it came to announcing this. All content purchased for FS2020 should just be drag and drop into FS2024 and it should work without issues or requiring updates from developers. I'm fine with this, but tbh I don't see why that couldn't have been a paid for update, similar to the how the Top Gun DLC was. Except, obviously paid for.
  18. Nah, this is taking the piss. Microsoft announced that 2020 is a 10 year project, they just announced this, a standalone sequel. It really should have been an update like the 40th Anniversary edition was. Even if it's a full priced update. I'd gladly pay £60-£70 for this. But not if that means the £350 I've spent on third party aircraft and airports doesn't work on it.
