  1. I'm not sure, I have the Steam version. I would assume it should work without issues. I use my Index with Assetto Corsa using a third party launcher so that doesn't go through Steam and I've never had issues with it. I've also used it with FSX before FS2020 released.
  2. Why is VR so difficult for Asobo to implement properly? I've just spent the last 2 hours trying to get VR to work properly. The issues I had are: The controller doesn't work, but I have audio and good fps The controller does work, but now audio doesn't work and good fps The controller and audio both work, but now it's running at 5fps. One guy in his spare time made VR work flawlessly with Assetto Corsa and he did it for free. Asobo has the financial backing of a $1,860,000,000,000 company and I'm still having the same issues with VR now that I was having over 2 years and 9 updates.
  3. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Can you tell where I am? Bonus VR screenshot at night. I do like how light pollution can be seen in the clouds around that airport.
  4. I've bought an petrol. This cost me £110 and it's not even full. This much petrol is good for ~260 miles of driving.
  5. Discord link is on the home page on the right. If you were already in the OCN discord, you're already going to be in the EHW discord. The OCN one got rebranded a few weeks ago.
  6. Gran Turismo 7 Nope. The producer said that there's no plans for a PC version. That nVidia leak a while back for GT7 could have just been software developed specifically for Polyphony Digital so they can test the game out on PC instead of exporting it to a developer console like game developers often do. Given they've got Sonys financial backing, I can see this happening.
  7. I've seen that Thrustmaster Boeing 787 yoke a while ago and it does seem pretty good, I just don't think it's worth it for me. Not now anyway. I might get it at some point in the future. In plane related news, there's quite a few planes coming out this year that I'm interested in. There's the FBW A380 which looks as good as the top payware mods but it's free. The Boeing 757 from Blue Bird, it's supposed to come with a study level version as well as an easy "hop in and fly" version for people who don't care about realism. The PMDG 777 is also coming out later this year and finally the MD-11 rom TFDI. This is going to be an expensive year for me.
  8. Update 8 days later: Not basically medicine. Nearly died.
  9. I think the limiter has always been 275K. I do remember not long after it came out, I found out how to switch on the dev settings. I did that then took a Cessna 152 up to the height limit with simulation damage off to see what would happen. Turns out the 152 doesn't like being that high up.
  10. Ayyy I was also testing the service ceiling with the F/A-18 over New Zealand with this new update after I heard about the F22 having seemingly no issues flying at 58,000ft and it having an official service ceiling of 50,000ft. The F/A-18 supposed to have a service ceiling of 45,000ft but it can go up to 60,000ft fine. It's just not the most efficient way of flying.
  11. Yeah, I noticed I downloaded that without even realising. I think that's why I've been seeing cruise ships around coastal cities.
  12. Penicillin comes from mold so this is basically medicine.
  13. Yes, but EU laws still apply. We got all of the cons of leaving the EU with none of the pros.
  14. Looks like the EU have decided to make an exemption rule to the 2035 ICE ban. EU's 2035 ban exemption gives small UK sports car makers lifeline WWW.AUTOCAR.CO.UK Manufacturers building fewer than 1000 vehicles per year will be exempt from the ban on new ICE cars
  15. I just made the mistake of going on r/microsoftflightsim. That subreddit is full of morons posting a screenshot or a video titled "what am I doing wrong?" with no further context as to what issue they're having. Sometimes a few hours later, the OP will post a comment saying what the problem was. Like this for example: If you guessed "the IRS needs to be aligned" you're wrong. The issue is that hydraulics systems aren't working because they're not switched on.
  16. I spent $70 on this 737-700, so you bet I'm going to fly it a lot although honestly I should have waited for the -800 instead of the -700 which was the first one to release. I do think if they changed their business model, they'd get more money coming in. If they made all of their 737 variants $70, but if you buy one of them, you can get the rest for an additional $20 each, more people are going to give them money for these. I'd pay an additional $20 each to get the -800 and -900ER. I'm not going to spend another $70 on the -800 and $50 on the -900ER, both of which are basically the same plane, but with a different weight and a bit longer. It is also a really good plane to fly, but yes, it does feel unresponsive if you're used to smaller planes, especially that Pitts. It is more responsive than the 787 and 747 though. If you want to see roughly what it's like to fly, I'd suggest the FBW A320. It's as close as you're going to get to the PMDG 737 but for free.
