  1. You all know this kind of discussion is not acceptable here. I'd suggest you just stop posting in this thread and wait for it to be deleted.
  2. The gif is a metaphor for picking what you want to believe even though there is a mountain of evidence stacked against it. But as for vaccines, I've got mine and like the vast majority of people, it worked as expected.
  3. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/intel-releases-12th-gen-core-alder-lake-hx-processors-(8p8e-cores-on-mobile).html Looks like it's official.
  4. The leaked 2001 build of Duke Nukem Forever is actually real WWW.MSN.COM And the leaker wants to release it in June. Of all the different versions I've seen, this version always looked the most interesting.
  5. Hmm interesting. My fan behavior for my GPU has been consistent from one driver version to the next as far as I can tell. Perhaps you should try a clean install of windows? Are you on 10 or 11? Maybe even do an RMA with AMD.
  6. Are you saying the fans are too loud or the GPU is too hot? Haven't had any issue like this with my RX 6800 80c is pretty normal for a GPU. Mine runs at ~85c
  7. They claim this will be the first 16 core laptop chips but they don't mention anything about when these are supposed to come out.
  8. I agree with that. The media definitely has problems, but even the problems you're describing IMO don't come from a lack of diversity but rather mostly the for profit nature of news reporting.
  9. To what end? Are you saying these companies are engaging in some kind of censorship or are you saying their content is overly homogenized? I think it's hard to argue any of these big companies are controlling what we watch when YouTube exists. They just want to make money by selling ads, they don't care what we watch and in the few instances where someone might try to use their media control to censor something, there are laws against that. They would get sued for unfair business practices immediately.
  10. I'm looking forward to watching one of those used parts budget build YouTube videos with this in it when I'm an old man.
  11. Nvidia fined $5.5 million for hiding how many gaming GPUs were sold to crypto miners WWW.MSN.COM The SEC says it left investors in the dark Can't wait for next gen gpus so miners can make more money while Nvidia continues to conveniently sells to bots.
  12. Price info: Leak reveals pricing and official performance figures for the upcoming Radeon RX 6X50 XT lineup WWW.TECHSPOT.COM We're now only days away from the planned release date for AMD's refreshed RDNA 2 graphics cards, and... Sounds like the prices will be very reasonable.
  13. Viacom doesn't really do news so if your arguing that this leads to censorship, I don't think your example supports that. You're basically arguing that the small amount of large cable companies and media distributors leads to some kind of censorship. While I definitely agree that having fewer and larger companies is usually a bad thing, I don't think it's actually lead to any censorship in any meaningful way. A lot of these companies literally lay down cables and the government won't let very many companies do that for logistics reasons, but the gov regulates it so companies have to compete fairly and let smaller companies use the cables. I agree it's not ideal but I don't think it's causing the issues you assert that it does.
  14. OK, but there are still other options. You could get a dish or just use streaming instead.
  15. Just a test post to see if my rig shows up. OK, got it now.
  16. The placement of the "add" button is confusing. It should line up with the field that's being added.
  17. I think it's a bit of both. The 6750 is a replacement for the RX 6800 because AMD thinks the RX 6800 has too much ram compared to how powerful the GPU is so they're not planning to make it anymore if I understand correctly but then cards like the 6950 will just be more expensive without replacing anything. On the Nvidia front, we just have rumors to go off of but if I had to guess, I'd say it sounds like AMD is going to be putting immense pressure on Nvidia this next round. Over the last few years we've seen AMD really mature and go from being always a good ways behind to being basically on par. If they're trajectory keeps up, this would be the gen that they could actually be on top. I don't think AMD has any issues increasing raster performance right now at all, so really all they've needed to do is find a way to catch up with next gen RT expectations and with how well they've been doing on all fronts lately, it seems likely they will have something impressive to show. Nvidia sounds like they're making last minute changes to a die shrink to keep up with pressure from AMD while AMD already had a lot of headroom for improvements in 7nm and lots of time to sit back and iterate on their design.
  18. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-radeon-rx-6950-xtrx-6750-xtand-rx-6650-xt-3dmark-scores-leak.html I'm sure Ray tracing performance will tell a different story. Nice to see AMD keeping the pressure on though.
  19. There's definitely bias in the news media and a bunch of other issues, but I don't think that comes from a lack of cable providers. As long as people can get online they can choose from all the same sources as everyone else and while parts of the country may have weak internet, it's definitely few and far between at this point. It would agree with you if there were some examples of cable providers that control a region only broadcasting the news channels they agree with but that's not the case as far as I know.
