  1. OP updated with gameplay trailer Gotta say, I'm impressed and very excited. Everything about this trailer looks good, I don't see anything I don't like.
  2. https://www.gamepressure.com/S013-amp.asp?ID=13336 This would definitely make sense for Crytek. Crysis 4 Xbox/PC exclusive down the road perhaps.
  3. https://www.techspot.com/news/90039-big-tech-targeted-proposed-antitrust-bills-aiming-break.html I would like to see google, amazon, and Facebook get broken up. I don't think Apple needs it though.
  4. This is pretty much a repost of this thread: https://forums.extremehw.net/topic/1330-microsoft-teases-its-windows-11-event-with-11-minute-video-of-startup-sounds/?tab=comments#comment-15137
  5. I'm going to guess they plan to continue the free upgrade system they had going from 7 to 10. It does almost seem to early though, windows 10 feel like it's hit s really good stride finally and now it's being replaced. 10 has been around for a while though, but maybe it doesn't feel as long since people stayed comfortable with windows 7 for so long.
  6. https://gizmodo.com/microsoft-teases-its-windows-11-event-with-11-minute-vi-1847075503/amp I wonder what this will bring to the table.
  7. https://www.techspot.com/news/90020-hackers-steal-source-code-more-electronic-arts-massive.html Hard to feel bad for EA.
  8. https://www.techspot.com/news/89983-coating-hamr-hdd-platters-graphene-could-increase-storage.html Good, I need a 40TB hard drive.
  9. See the First Images NASA’s Juno Took As It Sailed by Ganymede | NASA Looks like the surface has seen a lot of activity for a moon with no atmosphere.
  10. Hmm weird. Can you see these ones? I uploaded them directly. The last post was via URLs.
  11. GeForce RTX 3070 Ti founder edition review - Introduction (guru3d.com) Seems to be about 5-12% faster for an extra $100.
  12. In my mind the next BF game has to compete with BF4 which is still a great game today.
  13. I don't think it will have the same type of units as 2042. BF4 had a couple maps in it's last DLC that had some futuristic stuff on it but not quite 2142 level stuff. I think something in between makes a lot of sense given the hits they've dropped here and there. I think it will be 128 players and maps will have multiple levolution style events on them. Also sounds like they're going to take another serious shot at a single player campaign.
  14. How about a "render target" or something like that which would be for the render resolution and frame rate people are targeting. 1080p 240hz/1440p 144hz/4k 60hz and such.
  15. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/tsmc-4nm-manufacturing-process-will-come-sooner-than-expected.html Good for my TSMC stock.
  16. That makes sense, they're so close in performance and the gpu market is crazy but in general I think the 3090 will still go for more.
  17. True, but the 3090 never made much sense as a gaming card either, but at least it had some other features to sort of justify the cost. Both the 3080ti and the 3090 are barely faster than the 3080 for gaming and waaaay more expensive. The 1080ti was about 35% faster than the 1080 and the price difference between them was less than with the new cards. Feels pointless to debate the price though when they would sell just as many if the price were double.
  18. Yea no doubt it will be visually worse than DLSS but it just needs to be decent to be good. As long as the visual-performance trade off is reasonable, it should be a big hit. It will be interesting to see if Nvidia optimizes their drivers to run this better.
  19. There's definitely some fomo with GPUs now. I'll think hmm maybe I should try to get one and then I think, what no that's crazy I'm not spending that much on a gpu that's barely faster than one that's roughly half the price.
