  1. No link? Anyone with common sense can see that's not the case.
  2. Yea, me neither. I loved bf1942. Bf5 felt like they were trying to avoid doing the things gamers wanted.
  3. How do you figure? Looks nothing like that map... I don't think anyone expect bf6 to be a remake of bf3 but rather it's returning to the modern combat style of bf3/4.
  4. After looking it up, Apparently this form of price fixing by valve is called the "most favored nations clause". https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/steam-valve-lawsuit#:~:text=As reported by The Hollywood Reporter%2C the suit, the game is offered for on other platforms.
  5. There are probably some caveats for allowing sales within certain rules. Otherwise the source is just flat out wrong.
  6. Ubisoft games don't sell on steam anymore. There are still a few older games from before Ubi ditched steam but that's it. And we all know those cd key sites violate steams rules even though they work.
  7. Battlefield 6 Images Allegedly Leak Ahead of Official Reveal - IGN
  8. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/as-epic-v-apple-approaches-the-courtroom-valve-is-getting-sued-over-steam-too/ar-BB1ggz4h?ocid=mmx&PC=EMMX20 Humble bundle is even involved now. This is getting messy. Interesting how Microsoft just lowered their fee to 12%. I wonder if they sense which way the wind is blowing.
  9. Artificial intelligence is learning how to dodge space junk in orbit (msn.com) Right now NASA monitors space junk and warns other nations when their satellites are at risk of a collision so they can be maneuvered away. They even warn China, which performed a missile test and shot down one of their own satellites years ago which created some of the space debris we deal now. As low earth orbit becomes more and more cluttered, better techniques to deal with the situation will be really important. The risk of space debris causing a collision that has the potential to create more space debris that cause more and more collisions is called Kessler syndrome - Wikipedia If a major Kessler event were to happen it could basically wipe out everything we have in low earth orbit. Eventually most of the debris would fall back to earth but it would be years before we could rebuild. This is a good video on the subject:
  10. Exclusive: Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition Analysis - The First Triple-A Game Built Around Ray Tracing - YouTube Interesting.
  11. Microsoft is using Intel CPU tech to thwart crypto-mining malware | TechSpot This is the first I've heard of bitcoins being stolen by a malware attack. Seems like this has the potential to become a big problem.
  12. AMD's latest drivers reduce power consumption by up to 72%, but not for gaming | Windows Central Good news for AMD owners.
  13. Bootleg Firmware Brings Ryzen 5000 Support to ASRock X370 Motherboards | Tom's Hardware (tomshardware.com) Doubt many will go this route given that there's usually a lot of good budget motherboards for AMD that people can upgrade to instead but still cool to know it's possible.
  14. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/pc-gaming-on-the-rise-analysts-forsee-30-growth-in-the-pc-gaming-market-by-2025.html But PC gaming is dead.
  15. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/climate-change-has-knocked-earth-off-its-axis/ar-BB1fYYng?ocid=mmx&PC=EMMX20 Pretty interesting read.
  16. https://www.techspot.com/news/89404-microsoft-directstorage-pc-work-pcie-30-ssds.html Good news for nvme ssd owners.
  17. I try to avoid using youtube videos as a source for anything but this is the only good source of information for this I could find without combing through the developer Q&A transcripts, which can be found here: MSFS Developer Q&A Live 7 - Flight Simulator Blog Sounds like they plan to start focusing a lot more on optimizations and then add better graphical features as they improve performance. Gotta say, the graphics would probably be my last complaint about MSFS2020.
  18. TimeSplitters 2’s 4K port has been locked inside the Homefront sequel for years (msn.com) No word yet on if this works for PC but if it does, I'd guess a lot of PC gamers would buy homefront just for this. Edit: looks like this does work on PC but you need a controller to unlock it.
  19. It's an older program, but I've used Power Data Recovery and I think that will do what you want.
  20. I posted this a while back but it's perfect again here now:
  21. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/ge-is-working-to-put-covid-19-virus-detecting-sensors-in-phones/ar-BB1ftczS?ocid=mmx&PC=EMMX20 Wonder if this could actually work reliably. Would be amazing if so.
  22. You might wanna try v-sync with triple buffering enabled just to see if it feels smoother.
