  1. Well, now that everything's cancelled, I guess we've got time to catch up on old races/seasons, hey?
  2. This seems really cool for people who own all three of those devices since value probably isn't their highest priority. But I think it's really not for anyone here, certainly not me. Interesting that it's coming from Logitech too, but I don't follow much of what they do outside of gaming these days.
  3. I'm on spring break so I'm just sitting around a bunch. Classes are online for the rest of the semester and campus is closed for the next few weeks, at least. I live off campus and I don't trust the fact that nobody here has already been infected, so I'm playing it safe and not going home because I don't dare risk taking it home to my parents (since they live in a small town that usually keeps to itself). This also means FSAE has been put on hold, which is pretty life-shattering for most people on the team. But I won't blabber about that, not the point of the thread. I really like the routine idea. I've been thinking I'll do the same next week when we have class again, and your post reinforces that. Let's see if I can actually keep it up. Living alone makes motivating myself to have that sort of independent structure hard sometimes.
  4. If it was offered but not mandatory, I'm all for it, and I would probably use it if it ran through Google Authenticator, as previously mentioned.
  5. While we're at it, you can add my 250 Ohm DT770 Pros to the list. 3D printed new slide brackets for them (or whatever you want to call them) so they actually hold together again.
  6. For sure. Automation in these systems is always a bit dangerous. Exhibit A: The dumpster fire that is Youtube monetization.
  7. Absolutely, but perhaps with an official final sign-off before removing the app instead of a fully automated process. Imagine mass targeted reports to remove known apps from the store. Sounds like something 4chan would do; hilarious but also a complete nightmare.
  8. Agreed. It wasn't too long ago when people were starting to get unsettled by $1000 phone price tags, but of course they sold like hotcakes anyways. This is getting out of hand.
  9. Yeah, as long as they're actually removing apps that should be removed, then this is really nice to see. I have some faith, but at the same time I kind of want to see a list of which apps exactly were removed. I don't think there would be any harm in that considering the apps are no longer available.
  10. Lots going on at the moment in the world of motorsports it seems. F1 preseason testing week 1 is over, Ferrari looks like they're off their marks based on their on track performance and interviews, unless they're playing some serious mind games. Merc have introduced what they call DAS, or dual axis steering. Driver basically hits a button on the wheel to unlock or lock the setting, and can move the steering column forwards or backwards to adjust the toe of the front wheels while at speed, optimizing straight-line performance vs. turn in responsiveness. The system seems to be legal and is really clever. Everyone can't stop talking about it. In other news, I've been actually watching a bit of NASCAR, Daytona 500 completely wild at the end of the race, as per usual from what I understand. Currently watching their LV race as well as the 6 Hours of COTA over on the WEC side of things. I've been a bit out of the loop on WEC, seems like they've actually balanced the Toyotas with rest of the LMP1s.
  11. I picked up the BMW M6 GT3 car and the 2021 F1 car from Race Sim Studios. Super high quality mods for AC, and interestingly the default setup for both is pretty comfortable to drive. Usually the RSS defaults are pretty tricky to drive sometimes and take a few tweaks, at least for me. M6 drives about as you'd expect from a GT car, very smooth and not super interesting. For some reason the seating position seems really odd, both on triple screen and in VR. The 2021 F1 car is a bit understeery and seems to have a lot of grip, so it's really quick but feels tame to drive. Both are lots of fun though. https://racesimstudio.com/
  12. Just thought I'd make this thread since it's a nice game to play with friends, maybe a few other folks here play. I have very little time to game these days, but I've been trying to sneak in some TD2 time, and I'm still enjoying it well after launch. Also thought I'd mention THE FULL GAME COSTS THREE DOLLARS right now, and the year 1 pass is also on sale for $12. Absolute steal. https://store.ubi.com/us/the-division-2/
  13. banned because I've had a genuinely extremely unhealthy sleep schedule for the past few days, send help
  14. https://racer.com/2020/02/02/honda-vetoes-alonso-andretti-indy-500-deal/
  15. The 24 Hours of Daytona was pretty solid. Without any direct spoilers, they broke the record for longest green flag run and longest race distance for the Daytona 24, beating the latter record from 2018.
  16. Just made a 1150 mile, 2 day road trip last weekend. Crossed 199K miles in my E46. Absolutely love that car to bits.
  17. Banned because I've been wanting a GMMK but unlike you I can't justify buying an 80th keyboard
  18. banned because I would be doing that this semester if I didn't change majors last year ?
