Saw this earlier today. When you just glance at the image, it may appear as some random lights on a black background, but once you start to understand you're looking at and learn about the numbers associated with it, this becomes seriously fascinating stuff.

Installed a Recaro Pole Position seat on a PCI slider rail last night, it was a struggle and took around 3-4 hours of constantly taking it in/out and adjusting it. It's extremely tight in there and makes clearances really hard. The airbag/SRS light came on when installing even with the seatbelt sensor plugged it but I found out why, there's a magnetic sensor on the stock rail that's essentially detecting if the seat is in or not. I just need to transplant that to the new rail/seat. Problem is now removing it, the screw is a T25 (which I have the bit for) but it's made out of butter and it feels like the used red loctite on it. Tried heating it and being gentle with it, but almost stripped it. So just taking a break for now. Also learned that the light is on but the airbag will still deploy, it's just a warning that "something" is wrong with the SRS system.
The silver bolts and green tape are temporary. Just waiting for some nice black bolts/washers to come from ARP. Also going to get a seatbelt extension as the oem location is *really* tight with the seat in.
Looks good! Any plans for the passenger seat?

Oh wow, that's a throwback. My parents had the pair of speakers that you have sitting directly on the floor set up at our PC when I was a kid.

Thanks for the updates as well!
I definitely missed out on some points, tbh I forgot about this comp and one of my 2080 Tis was down since I was away from my apartment for the past two weeks until just now. Great turnout though!

My first two WUs are done, I'm officially in last place on their board haha. So for the competition, I just need to run the client and do nothing else right. I can just leave this on forever technically and all will be well?
Yes indeed, it's that simple.
Also IN as CptAsian.

I missed this thread when it started, but from catching up just now, it's great to see this community pull together so well, and you guys have done a great job of finding solutions and ways to make the gears of EHW turn more smoothly. Hats off to all of you! It's a pleasure to hang around here with you folks.

It appears the addition of the 3070 Ti has helped me blast through yet another milestone, 5 B for EHW.
I've said it many times before, and I'll say it yet again: I'm still not used to how quickly points can build up these days.

Got sucked back into World of Tanks. Actually been a relatively positive experience so far; we'll see if it lasts.

New comparison image from NASA. Definitely a lot higher res.
How the James Webb Space Telescope beat all expectations - Big Think

It was supposed to have a 5.5-10 year lifetime, and take 6 months to calibrate. It's performing better than anyone anticipated.Amazing comparison. Only increases my excitement for this project.

...likely a 'HDR' thing re. screenies.
Very possible.

Thanks!
I posted what I think are my best shots from FH5, so I guess my main point is that my "average" screenshot from FH3 or 4 is better than my "average" shot from 5. Below is a shot from 3 that I tried to recreate in 5. Maybe not a good example though since the paint finish is so different.

Had to tear out all the rads to mount the pump/reservoir and while I was at it, I completely redid all the cable management in the back. It's not great, but will work. I kinda wish these SW3 had a daisy chain feature, but that's ok. All the cables go in the back.
Also got my rotary fittings for top radiator and the 12-pin cable in today.
Anyway got it all refitted so the only thing next to do is to start bending some tubes.
Love the way the GPU power cable looks. The build is coming together really nicely!

You know, I saw when you made your last post that I replied to and wondered if that had happened since. Ah well, glad to hear that all is in order!

Prize Winners
Please message @damric very soon to claim your prize. There are four $25 cash prizes, 256GB NVMe PCIE 3.0 drives, Samsung Ear buds, and even a stick of DDR4 SODIMM. It's easier to send the cash prizes to those overseas, so if you are in the USA, please pick a non-cash prize, send me your address, and I'll get it to you soon.
Who folded as paperclip? I didn't see an "IN" for that one, and a few more on the score card. If I missed anyone, let me know. If you excluded yourself and change your mind and want a prize, also let me know ASAP.
I'd like to have everyone's prize info by Friday so I can pack some padded envelopes and get things shipped Saturday.
Thanks, and congrats to all of the winners! Great turnout.

Having a little hiccup with the stats system so I notified zodac. So the card isn't officially changed yet since it keeps timing out when I try and access Hacksword, but it's fine, just keep folding.
Sounds good, thanks for the update.

Well, I hate to say it, but it looks like my 1060 just totally bit the dust. No video output and obviously not able to fold. I am going to try and see what I can do, but it looks like it is going to be down for now

Well dang, sorry to hear about the 1060. At least it went out doing good work. Thanks for getting another card swapped in so quickly, and thanks @damric for helping with the swap.

Double post but HAH! I just noticed that the chair I just bought has gone up in price by $75 since I ordered it. Good timing.

The Series 1 has arrived and it took about 60 seconds to put together, so that was nice. Comfort is quite good, no real complaints so far. I think I'll pick up the headrest.
