  1. That is always the way right. Why can't things be simpler !
  2. That makes it different then. I cannot imagine the gaming companies are too pleased with this move on any level. Aside from stunting the industry, the gaming companies now have all that extra admin and compliance to adhere to.
  3. While China is very policed in general, unless they have the 100% compliance of parent...I cannot see this new law being effective. That being said, what I know of the culture is they are super law abiding...so maybe it will work.
  4. Great soundtrack for a reveal !
  5. That is sexy. Never owned a grid GPU. How do they perform in folding against a Tesla say ?
  6. This is not surprising considering the "Right To Repair" movement. I firmly believe this would be a great initiative. Of course companies do not like it as it stifles their ability to maximize on profits on new technology releases. They want to limit your software updates and repairability so they can sell you something new and shiny. I think it is time that it was stopped. Even from a e-waste point of view, this initiative would go a good way to reducing the amount of e-waste we kick out as consumers.
  7. Much of the time I can see value in other cultures laws etc and I can see a benefit from limiting gaming to ensure that youths are doing other things and learning other skills. However I personally feel that this is too far in the wrong direction and I am not sure what benefit this has. To me, the only thing this serves is to annoy people and stifle up and coming gamers to the professional arena's. We all know that gamers headed pro happens prior to the age of 18, all I can see is this stunting there gaming industry.
  8. Thanks bud. I have been busy applying the last couple of days. Waiting to here back. Mainly in I.T and CAD as those are more my bread and butter. Ironically CAD might win out over I.T again. Scrambling at the moment to get a new job as my other half is also between jobs, bad timing is all. In the meantime if nothing of a "professional" nature comes along then I will take whatever there is while applying. Now I remember what a PITA being unemployed is ha.
  9. Oh man, some juicy info so far. At some point I am looking forward to getting into this !
  10. On another note. I just signed up with eToro. As per the conversation with @UltraMegaI have taken a look at the VGT index, interesting stuff. I will likely do some actual investing once I have sorted my job issue out, first things are first lol. I will need to do some reading as per the links in the OP and familiarise myself with the risks etc. While it is all exciting, these are not things you jump into without looking.
