  3. Oh sweet, linked a friend as he may be in the market.
  4. Accepted ! Not sure how far I will be able to push mine as they will be on air, but we will see.
  5. Ahh bummer, yeah of course. Well volt modding them would be a PITA and in reality, you do not know what gain you would get for such an involved task. Fingers crossed there is some headroom with the stock volts.
  6. Mmm, that looks great ! Nice work. Will be good to see what sort of OC you get with these, assuming that is what you end up doing.
  7. That is one sweet build bud !
  8. Blimey...yeah those will scream lol. Another couple of images, the fans and the received replacement thermal pads. Fortunately already have Thermal Grizzly ready.
  9. Thanks bud I did notice the splitters My reasoning is that my 120mm fans are on the fan controller right now and I run them at full speed for the moment something I may not want for the smaller chaps. Will test first and see how it works out.
  10. Yeah it will be interesting to see how hot they will get under load. May need to get another fan controller for those little fans you sent me haha.
  11. It is why I sent a PM, like to inform people stuff has arrived safely So I received my Tesla M40's along with 12 packs worth of new thermal pads. I am pleased to report that initial testing on each M40 GPU has gone well, so after some new thermal paste, new thermal pads and replacement brackets, these will be good to go. Annoyingly however my second PSU is still delayed. All high wattage PSU's above 1000Watts are gold dust over here right now. Unfortunately without the second PSU it holds the build process back for cable management reasons etc... not to mention having enough power. So this will be on hold until then, though will re-work GPU'S in the meantime.
  12. It hurts ! For those who won Crucial prizes, please note that the prize winners were sent to Crucial but they missed the initial email. This explains the delay in getting your prize. Rest assured they are now on it and fingers crossed your prize will arrive soon. Is anyone else outstanding any prizing ? Thanks, E
  13. Reading your post the benefits to upgrading are: 1. PCIe 4 2. Extra NVMe 3. Future CPU pathway. It sounds like you have a nicely tuned system as it is and you are not having any issues with it. Unless you really want or need any of the above 3 points, I would not upgrade. I mean the upgrade is relatively cheap but you have to factor in time to re-tune the system as well. Not always just about the cost in $. I would personally leave it. Your only missed benefit is PCIe 4, but unless you are needing faster NVMe drives, there is no point. GPU,s do not really benefit from PCIe 4 yet in and meaningful way.
  14. Source This bugs me Companies should be forced to declare differences/revisions plainly and clearly to customers.
  15. I think you will be happy bud. Makes fair more budgetary sense than Nvidia, especially with the scalping. Plus 3080 with 11GB VRAM is shameful, then the 3090 with 24GB is nuts and as we know the 3090 was Nvidia's panic attack at RDNA2.
  16. It is not bad, it is a solid card so far as the build and the backplate is nice. Pumps out some heat when folding, I can tell you that much lol.
