  1. Well I am glad to hear it passed a fluid leak test. May just be a case of Keeping an eye on it for a few days to see if you spot a slow leak.
  2. Front my last talk with the devs, it is completed, however I am awaiting its deployment onto the live platform. I will be following up with them on this soon.
  3. Ha, look at you busting out the moves "I am gonna bust yo ass with the U.S.C SECTION 1341" lol.
  4. Sounds like a haul for sure, hope you manage to get it torn down and back up again with no issues, fingers crossed. I am hoping the new BIOS will hold out, then I can nick the BIOS files and Nvflash you are using from you and pop them on the CFP muhahaha.
  5. Awesome job bud. I will be selfish and let you fly with this for a little before I consider a flash on the CFP, just in case we have any bugs. Granted the CFP is on air, however it might be nice to have the unlocked headroom, I can manage the temps without the fans being full speed with the stock BIOS, so I do have a little headroom on air. If the worst comes to the worse I can clock them down at little. I am letting you be the guinea pig lol.
  6. That is awesome man, that looks to be a half height version of the CFP case almost. Well played for using Solidworks haha, I have been satisfied...wait that sounds weird.
  7. Hello all, As part and parcel of this platform, there is a "Mark as Solution" feature which allows the OP the ability to mark a post from another member as the answer to the topic, or at the very least, the most helpful. This will be available in discussion forums only and you will not find it in the Chit Chat section or Premium Lounge Etc. To mark a post as the solution you simply click on the "Mark as Solution" link in the applicable post, example below. This will then highlight the post in green and mark it as the solution for easy finding when browsing, see example below. It will also show in the first post as a "Go to Solution" button which will allow you to browse to the solution in one click, See example below. We hope you find this feature useful. All the best, E **Note** We are aware of an odd behaviour with respect to marking as a solution or un marking for some reason seems to take you back to the first post of the thread rather than maintaining your current position, we will escalate this to the developers of the platform to look into.
  8. We actually have an article coming soon based on the 11900K and I can echo that that the 11900K seems a little nonsensical.
  9. If anyone manages to modify a better BIOS for the M40's that is stable then im game for using it on the CFP.
  10. That could be sweet. So I left the rig folding overnight and we are up to 7 mill PPD, happy days !
  11. I did witness your confusion, I was willing you to just select Edge lol
  12. Thanks again bud, no idea why it worked for you but was an asshat for me...I don't care as long as it works haha.
  13. Cannot see why you couldn't grab a 980ti BIOS and flash it to the M40. Possibly even mod the BIOS first for extra yummy.
  14. Nice, I will send you a PM with connection details, I also popped on the desktop Folding Name and Passkey.
  15. I do not recall the Folding client being as much as a PAIN IN MY ASS as it is now. For some reason it wont save configs. It will not save the flags I pop in, as soon as you hit save the client flashes, go back in and nada, configs are gone. Also seemed to have dropped my Team and Passkey info. Anyone have TeamViewer and want to have a play ? Snowed under so dedicating time to troubleshoot is not going to happen.
  16. Thanks guys. Will make those changes. I always forget about the big difference the passkey makes along with the minimum WU submission. Will also pop those flags in and take a look at GPU-Z to make sure CUDA is being used and not OpenCL.
  17. Question my good chaps. Now this is possibly down to having a tougher work unit, however I am getting between 1.3 and 1.7 mill PPD with all cards folding, all at max clocks as I did check. Took a quick snapshot as below. Is the project listed in the client one of the tougher ones ? Fyi this is a vanilla install of the client, so there are no flags/optimization set. Are there any I should consider ? Wondering if I should check to disable RBAR. If needed I will dump logs on my next test run.
  18. This case a side....it would be an awful waste of a universe if we were the only intelligent life. Frankly I reckon compared to the other beings out there, we are possibly bottom of the totem pole.
  19. As the site has matured and the decent logic put fourth by your good selves, I have made the adjustment so that the logo on the forums site takes you to the forum homepage, not the main homepage.
  20. I understand the logic, I mean as you say we have what we need on the forum homepage now as well, though the landing page is more for our content. I will take a look at this again tomorrow
  21. Do it to satisfy not only your curiosity, but mine also
  22. Update time. So I am pleased to say that we are virtually there now, modding of the lid is now complete with its dust filter and grills. Grills are in place to stop any loose wires from getting snagged up in the fan if anyone was wondering lol. What you see below is pretty much the finished article, now just to set it up. Did I mention this things weighs a fair bit lol.
  23. EHW BOINC did exist briefly but I retired it in focus of Folding@Home. I may make it a thing again in the future, but right now I am keeping the focus on F@H All about doing some things well, rather than lots of things badly, though that is a reflection of myself, I prefer to stay focused and not spread too thin.
  24. It is a consideration, it is correct by design at this point, however if it became a big enough of a want I am not opposed to altering it
