Hey and welcome to EHW, Love the username by the way. Sounds like you were a lucky kid, if any of my parents worked in the I.T industry and bought home bits and pieces I would have been in my element. I have to say I do like to try and tweak the most out of my system, that being said it is very time consuming...time is at a premium these days so I do not find myself being as hardcore as I was before. Discord is a great avenue, hence why we have one as well, but alas you cannot beat a forum when it comes to content. We look forward to seeing you around

@Andrew Perhaps I am basic...but I kind of like the old interface of steam, sometimes simple is good. I am yet to delve into this new interface, may opt in over the weekend so I can be alarmed when I cannot find anything I want to haha.

The burn in is certainly a turn off for me. I would never get a screen (TV or Monitor) that suffered from this, as far as I am concerned it is a design fault. Consumers should not have to be careful how they use their screens in a normal usage scenario, just silly.

VM's are useful for failover and backups. Dedicated box is certainly one way to go but VM's do have their benefits, especially for server applications.

@Supercrumpet So I have spoken with VB regarding the inability to remove the content link from a post. Essentially, when you click on the content link button to insert a link and submit, it locks that post into that content type mode and you cannot revert it. It is not a bug but simply the way the software was designed. There is a feature request to make it so that you can change the content type later on but not sure when..or if that will ever come to fruition.

Hmmm. I get what you are saying, but I see so little conversation about it in general across a couple of platforms. While it is certainly a big business...the discussion for it tends to be very small. If I get more requests for it in the future then I will certainly open up a forum for it but I think for now it would be premature. Thanks for the suggestion though
