  1. Happy to help, let me know how you get on. I will have another dig on the web to see if I can find anything, must be others struggling with the same issue.
  2. This is odd, I read from a couple of sources that RDR2 supports SLI out of the box, granted they did not state any pre-requisites for it to work but find it confusing as to why it would not function under Vulkan on Windows 7. On the same token Nvidia have nothing to gain by blocking SLI on Windows 7 for this title. I have never heard of them doing this. I am not saying they aren't but fail to see the logic. Did a little search and found an interesting thread, I would suggest taking a read. https://amp.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/ds1fjb/sli_fix_for_red_dead_redemption_2_on_pc/
  3. Oh nice ! Will check it out, not a huge assasins creed fan but im sure I will find something haha!
  4. Share the giveaway to all ! December winner will be announced Jan 1st. Get in it to win it.
  5. While it is a pain to have all these launchers, which does lead to a fragmented library and logins, you cannot complain about the free games. I have claimed on so many games that have come as a promo with hardware that I have all the game launchers going lol...but it does give me a free game so it is a decent trade off ! I still need to play Anthem (one of the games I got with my 2080Ti)
  6. Awesome roundup guys, great listen. Was funny/even annoying to reminisce over the last decade haha.
  7. @tictoc out of interest what are the temps like under load on that GPU with your OC ? Is it air cooled ? Just wondering as AMD have not done all too well as of late with toasty GPU's.
  8. Haha, still kind of funny though but hugely annoying for those who got stripped.... literally and metaphorically lol
  9. What if Santa is broke from developing a website ? ....Ban
  10. Hang on a second...I am supposed to buy presents !?!?!?!:old:
  11. It is almost a challenge to find components without all the flashy RGB lol. Looks like you made a solid choice though.
  12. Well I just completed it, I have to say I was super impressed. Was great that it all come together in the end as the storyline is one of those when you fully understand what started the mess. I would imagine they will make a second, their is certainly scope to do so. I was pleasantly delighted that on one of the levels (Wont say which to avoid spoilers) that it starts rocking out Take Control by Old Gods of Asgard
  13. Don't you just hate that sometimes. Luckily the company I work for has a Christmas shutdown for a week....though it is taken out of our annual holiday, but I like a week off for xmas so its ill good. Hmm but in order to stay on topic, I'm going to have to ban you for stopping work to post that your still working:p
  14. Surprised the E.U. hasn't hit Google with a lawsuit yet. They hit microsoft with 1 for having Internet Explorer as the default browser and not offering a ver.of windows without it.Isn't Google doing the same type of thing? You could argue that, not sure why it has not been bought up yet within the EU, but I would imagine that if they carry on the practice (and can be proven) there would be some form of hearing.
  15. Banned for being...I dunno. Who has finished work for the year ?
  16. Source: https://www.sciencenews.org/article/tiny-switch-redirects-light-between-computer-chips-nanoseconds Interesting Read. Imagine if they were able to replace silicon pathways with light pathways and intelligent switches in order to re-direct data traffic, certainly would give us a leap and help towards the quantum computing.
  17. Source: https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news/amd-ryzen-5-3600x-deal-2019 It comes as no surprise why AMD is cleaning up.
  18. Source: https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news...xt-vram-pcie-4 I have to say, I did not think about that concept. The fact that lower VRAM cards obviously have to dump data to the system RAM once the VRAM is saturated, the fact that PCI-E 4.0 offers a quicker way in which to offload to the system ram actually improves the performance of lower end VRAM cards. Seems like an obvious statement, and it is, but not being in the situation where my GPU's have been negatively effected from a lack of VRAM, you forget about these things.
  19. Source: https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news/intel-hires-ex-amd-executive-to-lead-discrete-gpu-soc-design Looks like Intel are looking to up their game in their SoC departments.
  20. Moved to Software News. I have to say, I think we will see more of this, especially with Google and other Chromium based browsers locking down on certain sites as well as what has been stated as unfair treatment whereby Google have been caught undermining competing services so they do not function etc. This is part of the problem when a company gets a little too large !
