  1. 10nm was a fail for Intel, I think we will only see the big guns come out once they get into 7nm
  2. This comes as no surprise, they need to do something when you consider just how well Ryzen is doing right now.
  3. Yeah GPU Boost 3.0 IS really great, though it it is very sensitive to temps, so the cooler you keep the card the more consistently it can boost !
  4. The Workstation market I would imagine has Nvidia all over it. I use workstations frequently as well as CAD software. I attend the CAD events here in the UK and I can tell you that Nvidia is in a good 99% of the showcased workstations from low end to high. To be fair to Nvidia, from what I have heard from our partners in the industry, they are very hands on and work well with the CAD software developers which of course goes along way, so power to them. Last time we used an AMD workstation card we had more issues with instability and performance. I decided to go Nvidia and things were much improved. Now im not saying that would always be the case, but from a company point of view once you have found a stable product...you stick with it. Time is money and a large majority of companies do not have time or resources to keep testing products from "the other side". Companies will rightly stick with what they know, in our case it was that Nvidia cards were better overall. Unfortunately that company mentality can be damaging to hardware manufacturers. You let a company down once, its hard to win their business back and in my experience AMD let us down, granted only the once but that is all it takes.
  5. Spoiler BBCODE has now been perfected for those interested lol.
  6. Ahh, bummer! While it is an ES, are you sure its not fake ? There have been some very impressive fakes on Ebay as of late. Either way, sucks it's giving you grief.
  7. Oh bummer, so faulty CPU ? Possibly a reseat ? I know it been known that 1 poor contact in the wrong place can cause mem issues.
  8. Somewhat OT, but I am already working on the SPOILER BBCODE again so that it does no wrap everyline with the dotted lines, I know it is somewhat ugly, so I am working on a solution for that one
  9. Oh nice, certainly has a more ''Office'' appearance to it !
  10. Always enjoyed Cryengine, it has come a long way and for me is one of the smoothest engines going while keeping visuals and game play fairly realistic.
  11. Love it !. Let me know if you have an issues with Google Spreadsheet embedding. I did extensive testing on this and it was fine, but let me know all the same
  12. I heard about this one the news on the way home, what a shame !
  13. Yeah those ever so slightly wider rads can certainly be an issue. I myself have the be quite! Dark Base Pro which was able to fit in my Black Ice Nemesis 420 GTR Radiator. I have tubing going a few places in my case as you will see below. Having two GPU's with AIO coolers along with my WC loops creates for some interesting routing lol My original shopping list for my WC setup is as below [ATTACH=JSON]{"alt":"Click image for larger version Name:\t1.jpg Views:\t0 Size:\t669.7 KB ID:\t1220","data-align":"none","data-attachmentid":"1220","data-size":"custom","height":"688","width":"916"}[/ATTACH][ATTACH=JSON]{"alt":"Click image for larger version Name:\t2.jpg Views:\t0 Size:\t366.8 KB ID:\t1221","data-align":"none","data-attachmentid":"1221","data-size":"custom","height":"1034","width":"777"}[/ATTACH]
  14. Woop. I went for my second ever custom loop for my current TR 2990WX build. Very satisfied. I still think its the only way to go for a CPU like that. All core OC to 4.1Ghz certainly makes for a hot chip under heavy load. Will have to go for my list of components but I do love the Heatkiller waterblocks, huge chunk of copper sexiness, certainly gets the job done.
  15. Yeah a numpad is something I use but only because it is there for me right now, I dont think I would miss it. Hell, back in my younger days I used to ignore the numpad and just go straight for the top row keys haha.
  16. I remember when games where like 6-10Gb...those were the days. Then again its all kind of relative. Back then broadband was still in its infancy....so it still took ages to download lol.
  17. I do not think you will regret it, the 2070 Super will serve you well.
  18. Oh that is nice, have to admit, I am thinking about getting a smaller one at some point, save some of that desk space.
  19. I personally love Delta and for cooling performance can be fantastic...but as you as you say, your PC can take off. Fan controller with most of the Delta performance fans was a must a 99% of motherboard headers would blow if you tried to ramp up a Delta fan on it.
  20. Banned for justifying your post to the right making me think there was a bug.
