  1. @Duality92 Nice, is hydro dipping/plastidipping an expensive mod to undertake ? I assume you bought the kit and did it at home ?
  2. The great thing about Pfsense and its general purpose, low end/dated hardware within reason will perform just fine. Perfect for re-purposing that old rig sitting in the corner gathering dust !
  3. @iamjanco Nice find, will have to seek one of those out if I go pfsense as a small footprint is a must for me !
  4. Mmm tasty avatars ! Banned for pointing out my failure to abstain from eating avatars !
  5. Banned for...well pointing out the sadness that is an exploit breach !
  6. Please note that all prior entries will get full entry into the drawer. We understand that when the site went down, the proof images of the social media sharing were lost, but you should not have to re-enter or be punished for something out of your control ! Please note that the site outage was related to the VB Zero Day exploit. We apologise for any inconvenience. Due to the site outage we will be extending this giveaway deadline unti the 6/10/19 Thanks all !
  7. Oh lordy ! I just typed Zork into YouTube to check that bad boy out. DOS mania ! Those must have been the good old days. Was that run from a floppy originally ? I mean these days I am sure it is just a downloadable ROM.
  8. Hey bud, Welcome ! A very poetic first post, was that you or is that from somewhere in particular ? Good to have you with us
  9. Me tonight ! Ohh and banned for not believing in the future !
  10. Banned for being on any other site, its only ever coffee time at EHW
  11. Hey and welcome to EHW, Love the username by the way. Sounds like you were a lucky kid, if any of my parents worked in the I.T industry and bought home bits and pieces I would have been in my element. I have to say I do like to try and tweak the most out of my system, that being said it is very time consuming...time is at a premium these days so I do not find myself being as hardcore as I was before. Discord is a great avenue, hence why we have one as well, but alas you cannot beat a forum when it comes to content. We look forward to seeing you around
  12. To all our newcomers, feel free to introduce yourself in our New Members section
  13. @Andrew Perhaps I am basic...but I kind of like the old interface of steam, sometimes simple is good. I am yet to delve into this new interface, may opt in over the weekend so I can be alarmed when I cannot find anything I want to haha.
  14. Banned because I will now have to look into that, though I cannot replicate the issue on my phone oddly. Please PM/DM me what mobile browser you are using
  15. No worries bud, we can see the share just fine Thanks for entering !
  16. F@H is something I am wanting to bring to EHW in time, the nice thing is I can feature stats etc as a widget on the site
  17. The burn in is certainly a turn off for me. I would never get a screen (TV or Monitor) that suffered from this, as far as I am concerned it is a design fault. Consumers should not have to be careful how they use their screens in a normal usage scenario, just silly.
  18. VM's are useful for failover and backups. Dedicated box is certainly one way to go but VM's do have their benefits, especially for server applications.
  19. If only these were on the market a little earlier I may have gone for one. Its nice to have a "Gamers TV" finally. For me, everything prior to this generation fell short. LG unveils first OLED TVs with Nvidia G-Sync support - Audio Visual - News - HEXUS.net
  20. Now that is some fast RAM, but 16GB for just shy of £1000, hard to justify that one ! Corsair releases 16GB 4,866MHz Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory kit - RAM - News - HEXUS.net
  21. AMD just keep moving onward and upwards, though I wish Windows saw some more hefty gains, darn scheduler ! AMD Epyc CPUs Claim 14 World Records With Red Hat's Help
