Here's a sloppy(gigabyte software) O.C. to 4.1 ish of my Ryzen 2700x minus Firefox, taskmanager shows crap running in background during test from the game apps. Edit: Just an FYI, the P4 is stock settings on the Dell.... No underclocking on that baby!

Update:After purchasing new larger drive for christmas present, I used Acronis true image to transfer the data from the old smaller drive to the new drive in the original faster slot. After transfering,I removed the old drive completely,switched the bios BACK to booting from the faster slot(it showed the new drive no issue) and booted with no problems and have been running for a couple of weeks now. NOW I have to see about updating the bios again.Guess maybe I'll go slower with that this time.

Glad I'm not the only one who finds a use for the hdmi switches. using 2 of them on the bedroom tv so the wife can have her xbox s,Series S ,PS4,computer,PS3,and FireStick in there. tv has 3 hdmi inputs so the Firestick,PS4,and PS3 are on 1, xbox & comp are on another with other xbox on third so she can swith easier with the tv remote. Powering on devices does most of her device switching as needed on the switches.

Alot of people have issues getting the memory "up to speed" if you will because that was with the early ddr3 for nvidia that used higher voltages and the boards are defaulted to that to start. (the sticks made for the nvidia 790i chipset = 1.7v 2000Mhz with a green heat spreader) Other 2000Mhz memory was 2.0v at the time. Might be why the newer 1.3 volt memory has issues?

The problem with the x5472 and x5492 is that they are already 1600MHz cpu's so the OC headroom is slim to none.
