Question is,are they STILL gonna keep installing what they think is the latest greatest driver for the device automatically? I mean they already kinda DO keep 3rd party drivers separate in the updates section...Never mind,just ck'd before posting and within the last couple of updates they've removed them. lol? -

Edit: Also purchased a different fan for the back of the case,want to make sure I'm pulling enough to offset both front fans pushing air in on low settings.

I think the reason cyberpunk wouldn't load was probably the graphics or the extensions on the cpu. Yours is missing a few that the minimum amd has.(SSE4 / SSE4.1 + SSE4.2 / Streaming SIMD Extensions 4 just to name a few...) Also the minimum VRAM is 3GB with recommended at 6. I know it identifies the cpu,because they had an issue when it first released where it was screwing with the SMT on later (ryzen) cpu's because they weren't identified as bulldozer cpu's... (here's an article on it with a fix... https://www.tomshardware.com/news/cyberpunk-2077-amd-ryzen-performance-bug-fix-testing ) Here's a screenshot of the system requirements for the game also. Edit: The amd cpu they have as minimum is 6 years newer than the 1 your running,if it's being detected that may be why it won't load.

On a side note,was looking @ larger nvme drives and figured I didn't need to look at the 4.0 versions because by the time I upgraded again a cpu wouldn't fit this socket or wouldn't be worth the little bit of Ommmph I'd get. Surprise,this board(X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) ) is even supporting the 5xxx series cpu's with pcie 4.0 support. Cussing Bungie for deleting content from their game I paid for to make room for their new content/upgrade(and people say Microsoft forces people to upgrade?? lol) ALSO playing Dying Light,game STILL adds new content/community events 6 years after release.? Plague Inc: Evolved, lol the wife gets annoyed over this 1 because I name every thing after her and tell her how deadly she is. ?

(sigh) It would be nice if they actually made more PS5's for consumers to purchase before they worried about making a new VR format for the few that are in the public's hands....? OR at least found a way to block the bots from their site when they DO list a new batch for sale.

It came installed in my Dell XPS 8300. I should have gone with the nvidia card they offered,but I just waited and upgraded to a gtx 970 on that and used the 5770 on my xeon build before I got a nvidia card for it. ? It's the back that kinda looks like it's a carrying handle on the end.lol Edit: I found a pair of them for sale just now on ebay for $60.00 lol here's a pic from there...

an example of why I don't post "ugly pics". My parts would die of shame and I might be reported for abuse.... This is an HD 5770 with the metal back plate,I had to cut the end of the plate off because it wouldn't fit in 1 of my cases like it was.?

CCR always makes me think of Tom & John Fogerty still being mad at each other when Tom died because of the record company screwing them over royalties and Tom settling.I'm just glad Chris & Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes made up and didn't end up the same way.
