  1. FYI Safedisk dropped a new beta BIOS with Agesa 1207 in ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Overclocking & Discussion Thread | Page 559 | Overclock.net (post # 11,176).
  2. @Mr. Foxyour fittings need more knurl, that is hardly enough to scuff a knuckle on...
  3. I keep hoping they will release a 1300W TX variant. I don't need it, but I keep longing for it none the less. I find the mesh they chose visually striking.
  4. I can't help but respect someone who takes pride in evenly spacing all the toppings.
  5. Great work routing the 24-pin cable. It has a nice even arc. Be Quiet makes a sexy fan. Nvidia dongle handled about as well as can be. This is 2022 Beregond, a SATA device? In a pure gaming rig? Mon dieu .
  6. @ENTERPRISE some resources I found helpful regarding PBO2 tuning. Clav's method for Zen 3 OC | Overclock.net OFFICIAL 5900X and 5950X two chiplet Zen 3 CPUs Overclocking thread | Overclock.net CoreCycler - tool for testing Curve Optimizer settings | Overclock.net [Official] AMD Ryzen DDR4 24/7 Memory Stability Thread | Overclock.net A guide to ram overclocking on Zen 3 | Overclock.net
  7. F'ing beautiful . I mean it. I did not appreciate how awesome the color scheme was till these pictures.
  8. Robin Hood was my favorite animated film growing up. Couldn't not comment when Sir Hiss appeared on my screen.
  9. Thank you for the update. Very nice tuning while still holding to your rule regarding vSOC . I am eager to find out if Agesa 1207 is actually going to change anything for the "original" Zen3 chips or not. At the moment, I'm betting not, and that's okay.
  10. That was my first thought, as practically 80% or more of the threads that describe similar behavior end up having a mount/TIM issue. 80% is not 100% though . Hope you get the wrinkles ironed out without too much difficulty.
  11. I have been using FanControl since December. I find it to be under-appreciated in the greater DIY PC community. Perhaps that is about to change 👍.
  12. Let me say first that to date I haven't used it, but are you familiar with the newish MIG aluminum welding options? I think it tends to be a flux cored aluminum wire? I have no idea if it works worth a though .
  13. Nay, blessed hardware that with be swathed in liquid love and allowed to reach the heights of ecstasy...err, frequency, whatever...
  14. @Mr. Fox Sorry it wasn't everything one might hope for, but as you said, 5-7 degrees less isn't pocket change.
  15. Cool. I got those for my chair at home. They have exceeded my expectations. It would be difficult for me to go back to the "plastic" wheels that seem to be the default for office chairs.
  16. For that kind of money, it seems like that chair should come with something like these: Amazon.com : Office Chair Wheels Black Replacement Rubber Chair casters for Hardwood Floors and Carpet, Set of 5, Heavy Duty Office Chair casters for Chairs to Replace Chair mats - Universal fit : Office Products
  17. Nice looking floor jack. Good ones always look like more than I want to carry very far. Genuinely curious about the quote above. Did you possibly mean "impact wrench" instead? Or do you intend to tighten your wheel mounting hardware to a very specific torque spec?
  18. Cardboard accepts paint reasonably well. Just don't saturate to the point of "soggy" .
  19. We have 3 or 4 of those "rolling stools" that used to be office chairs back in the shop. Odd how many of the generic rolling office chairs with the plastic arms fail exactly the same way. Anyway, they (the "stools") are pretty handy for use in the "garage".
