    They saw all the anime girl stickers I put on the envelope and said what is this trash. Yours was one of the larger manila envelopes. I put two stamps on it but maybe I needed 3? I don't mail stuff very often and don't have a postal scale.

    Finally picked up the last piece of the puzzle for the sim rig.

    Definitely still interested to see how these perform. I was planning on getting a 7900X3D before I heard about the CCD mismatch. Ended up grabbing a normal 7900x for now and will probably hop on the 3D bandwagon when 9900X3D or whatever they call the next one comes out.

    So the astrolokeys set was lost in the mail. Took a refund and bought a different AliExpress special. This time an Evangelion theme. The glorious lynx are smooth and quiet but it turns out I still don't like light linears. The magical girl tactile switches are really nice so I'll swap all the switches over to those at some point

    Lol thanks. I used to go by Sirt0astalot but I wanted something cool and less l337 gamer sounding. I actually was flipping through a thesaurus looking up cool words to pair with Flux when I came across maven. I think a lot of people misread it as Fluxmaiden or something because apparently a lot of people thought I was a girl for a long time.

    Welcome! I enjoyed the more in depth introduction. I grew up in rural Kansas so I have an appreciation for 4x4s and dirt bikes even though it's been a while since I've had either of them.

    Ran the model on the Delta wondering if it was the Blowie-Matron from the old Linus video. Sadly only half a blowie. Still should avoid sticking your finger in it. In other news, I have the stickers for the people that replied packaged up. (had to go find some larger envelopes for the big stickers). After I get them addressed I'll drop em in in the mail.

    Aside from the price, this is still a really nice card. Getting 3070 performance at 160w is great. This allows for smaller coolers and lower wattage PSUs. People doing SFF would be over the moon. Or for us strange F@H folks, the new 4000 series is awesome. Way more PPD without dying of heatstroke when running a bunch of cards. I really don't see why they wouldn't at least stick with the $399 from the 3060ti.

    4000 series are baller for folding. All the overclocked custom loop 3090s in the office getting slapped by the low end 4070ti Ventus. Will be fun to see what it can do once I get a block for it. Probably be a while though.

    I already have a fan in the window and a box fan circulating air through the room. It's just a small room to have so much hardware in. Also on the 2nd floor so even though I have the vents shut to that room to keep the heat from the HVAC out, it still gets the heat rising through the floor.

    Yea I can do whatever, but after the foldathon. It's hot as balls in the office and I don't have PS on my other PCs

    There is no damn way I could turn everything up to 11 outside of the winter months. It's just above freezing outside and with two windows open the ambient temp in the office has still been in the 80s. I don't mind 72 in the winter but 48 is a lot easier to commit to the rest of the time.

    Really wasn't planning on any 4000 series for a while but them open box deals be crazy sometimes. Grabbed some AM5 goodies for my other ongoing builds.

    All the cool kids are jumping ship and coming over here. I've moved all my rigs over to this team and haven't even looked at the state of folding at OCN in about a year. It was already pretty sad back then.

    I like photographing flowers but I'm terrible at painting lol. My degree was a mix of graphic design and video production. I'm actually pretty bad at most traditional art now that I think about it. Round stickers are a nice addition.

    Lol did they make a new EK TEC that isn't ass? Last I checked it was a $500 gimmick that couldn't handle any semi spicy multicore load. I'm guessing it's also in everyone's favorite O11D with an EK distro. Obviously they have money to burn. I have faith that out of any of us, you can guide them to a decent build.
