It can... Run it! I'm kind of surprised nobody on the team has done a run with a 2080ti, but any PCI 3.0 Nvidia GPU that's not a Titan can run that category.

When I created my account I chose ExtremeHW but it didn't stick. I had to go back into my account and select it again for it to actually reflect that I was on the team.

Trust me, it hates all of us. This is also my first time using HWBOT So I'm still working through how it all works myself.

The 290s have nothing to do with the SLI category. Those are in the AMD category. I just mentioned them as an example of how someone could come along and knock your score out. Most of the people here are participating in multiple categories with different hardware. I'm going to be coming after you with 460s. Mine are waterblocked like everything I own, but one is a mystery card I just bought on eBay. So if it's a total dud overclocker your score will still be the one that counts for the team. Either way we're just doing this for fun.

You don't need to submit 3 scores. You can submit as many or as few as you like. It just keeps your best score. The team needs 3 scores to average. So currently it's still just showing the runs Avacado and Bastiaan did with 470 and 480s. Once you submit your score it will fulfill the requirements of the competition. From that point you can keep pushing the limit and submit higher scores but It wouldn't hurt to submit what you have now just to get something on the board while you experiment with the hardware.

I'm about to pull the FX+Crossfire 7970 combo off the bench and put a 2700k+460s back on. I don't have a run submitted yet because I'm waiting on an SLI bridge that fits. The one I tried breaking half the connectors off to fit surprisingly didn't work. So by all means, keep tweaking and pushing your setup. If I get mine working I'll have to play catch up to see if I can run you down. It will be nice going up against someone with the same cards. My poor 7970 run is going to get slaughtered when @tictoc shows up with those 290s

lol it's not even my plant but I have been trying to save it. Went from not enough water to too much water and too much sun. Had root rot and thought it was a complete goner but it's still barely holding on

I also have a pair of GTX 460's that I plan on running so it will be a battle to see who can actually get SLI working correctly

So I tore the place apart looking for a damn SLI bridge that would fit... Could not find any of the little single row ribbon ones. Tried some redneck engineering with no success.... So looks like I'm doing the GTX 460's next weekend while I wait for a bridge and running the 7970s

I literally bought the AM3+ setup so I could run my 7970s. IDK if I'll get to that this weekend. I have a 2700k + SLI 460 setup on the bench currently.

Been wanting to redo the WIFI network at the house for a while. Was going to build out something cool but decided to just go with a Ubiquiti setup so it would be easier for my roommate to manage if needed. Plus this is a nice scalable solution for adding cameras and access control down the road. Already have one Unifi AC AP so we'll have a total of 3 to start and go from there. House is 3 story a little over 2k square ft so networking is a real blast.

I just like to rinse GPUs with distilled water to clean them off I fiddled with the OC for a while before posting a valid sub. Couldn't get it stable above 5.3. Even tried per core with only the first two at 5.4 and it just didn't want to be stable no matter how much voltage I threw at it. So I stayed at 5.3 all core and got my 3200cl14 b-die kit to run at 4533 18-18-18-32. Even with looser timings it didn't want to run 4600+ When I get this build setup with the 11900k I'll spend a bit more time trying to dial it in further.

I've been eying a Hakko for years but I just don't solder often enough to justify it... So I'm still sticking with my old Radio Shack soldering station. It's slow but it's adjustable and still works.

Got this up and running last night. Had one pretty substantial leak from the fitting on the top radiator which was running down the tube and dripping right on the GPU... Was a new fitting with a new O-ring IDK if it got pinched or what. Drained the loop and swapped in another new fitting and it doesn't leak now. Managed to get a score on the board so now it's going to sit for a few weeks while other things are happening. This build will get the 2080 from upstairs and an 11900k. Working on custom vinyl decals and going to run Mayhems UV black coolant to round out the aesthetic.

Dang, $20 is a solid deal.

Bought an 11900k for this rig from tps3443 over on Overclock.net yesterday. Smoothest transaction I've had in a while. $200 and had it shipped out the same day, It'll be here tomorrow! Still going to finish the build with the 11600k so I can run that for HWBOT, but I'll have a baller CPU to drop in when I upgrade the GPU. PPCS order came in so I got the rads all sorted out. Lots of tight fits here. Used a couple barbs with zip ties in place of compressions in a couple spots. The low profile 90 I was waiting on worked perfectly. Shoots into the back of the case and loops around into the distro. I did use a piece of 3/8x1/2" tube here because there was no way 1/2x3/4" was making that bend with the rear side panel on.

Prior to rebranding myself as Fluxmaven I went by SirT0astAlot May have left less room for confusion, but glad I moved away from that.

Currently my plans are bench the 11600k in the Intel CPU DDR4 category, Run 460s in the Nvidia GPU 400 series SLI, and run my 7970s in the AMD GPU GDDR5 category. So I need another 460, and an AM3+ platform. I did find a few things on the ole ebay. Also found a PC on FB marketplace with an FX-9590 and Asus crosshair v formula that the seller is possibly open to parting out but it's an hour drive from here and I'm lazy... Performance PCs actually still has the same Bitspower block that I have on my current 460, but not really in the mood to spend more than the GPU on a block. Started digging around in the closet and dug up an EK-VGA Supreme HF and a new acrylic top for it! Has that typical EK quality nickel plating but looks pretty fresh with the new top.

Surprisingly won this SF450 for pretty cheap at Goodwill. Got the email that I won it, and I totally forgot I had even bid on it Also bought a Koolance low profile 90 degree fitting from PPCS to finish the build I'm working on and tickets for emo nite which I'm about to go to now.

Is noise an issue? I have a Quadro P4000 being underutilized in my Plex server that I could send over, but if you put a real load on it, the single slot fan can get really annoying.

We're saving all of those pics for the ExtremeHW Onlyfans account. Gotta pay for all that hardware somehow
